And they’ll probably release it on the day that we should be getting Now 125

Perhaps they’re scared to announce it because of your scathing iTunes reviews.

It’s like you completely ignored everything I had to say. It’s wild that I was told this by someone in the music industry and you’re just like “no” who probably has no experience in the field whatsoev

100 songs, it feels like the glory days of 100 Hits!

Yes it is pointless but clearly aimed at the Christmas market so doesn't bother me that much for that reason, very uninspired though.

But Hadji says it's pointless so we shouldn't buy it, he hath spoke.

It is pointless buying it if you have the yearbooks. I’ll be happy if they fiddle with the release date rather than clash it with Now 125

You have eras, 1994 yearbook and Now 125 aimed at the Christmas market and maybe yearbook 60s volume 4 if they release that in November. If they wanted to do something pointless or casual, they should’ve done Now GTA to coincide with GTA VI or follow on from 60s soul and 70s soul by doing 80s soul

There’s going to be a lot aimed at the Christmas market as these admittedly boring albums tend to sell better and hang around longer in the compilation chart so it makes sense to do these releases close to Christmas to maximise their profits.

They’ve probably run out of ideas for Party albums like they often do so maybe we’re getting this instead.

Now GTA would have to be a licensed tie in to use the branding and that would cost a lot to do for very little return. It’s not like Clubland (easy tie in with Universal), I just don’t see that they would get access to such a large global phenomenon as a Now CD. GTA’s producers would do better globally putting out their own soundtrack.

Since Demon Hunters came along, none of the casual spin-offs have topped the compilation chart. The last casual album of theirs to top the compilation chart was Now 70s last year and that was just before Demon Hunters was released. My opinion on Now Legends is that it’s a waste of time and money. If they plan to release it on 13th, they should push it back a week so it doesn’t clash with Now 125. They could release it on 6th and clash it with eras. It’s better for them to clash it with eras rather than clash it with Now 125

A GTA compilation album is already happening but it's not a collection of past music, depsite how cool it would be. They know there's money to be made in a release to tie in with the current game and even if they were to do a retrospective it wouldn't be a NOW album. Atlantic are the ones who have the rights to the release so they aren't just going to collab with Sony on something either.

The GTA VI compilation will be songs that were recorded specifically for the game. I don’t know if it will include old songs that appear in the game. I’m talking about Now GTA with songs from III, IV, V, vice city, San Andreas etc. obviously not songs from VI

Again, it won't happen because Atlantic have licensing rights for the GTA name.

They should just stop with this pointless crap. I’d have been happy to go this week without an announcement than have this and I hope it flops in the compilation chart. As they sometimes like to fiddle with the release dates of their albums, I’ll be happy for them to fiddle with the release date of thisIMG_4058.jpegIMG_4059.jpeg

Is there an estimate release date on this?

I reckon it will be 6th or 13th November but I’m hoping for 6th so we can have Now 125 on 13th. As they sometimes like to fiddle with the release dates, I’d be happy for them to move this to 20th November so GTA VI can block this from the top of the compilation chart

Ed Sheeran is no longer a selling point for anything anymore… even if it is the song we never got.

I remember when they released 12" 1986 part 1 on the day we should’ve been getting Now 123. If I was torn between clashing Now Legends or Now 125 with GTA VI, I’d rather clash the former with GTA VI. If I want Now Legends, I’ll wait until the end of the year when I’ll find it in my local charity shop

Now Legends is being released on Friday 13th, the day we should’ve been getting Now 125. Looks like it will be a bad Friday 13th if this is being released. If they can fiddle with the release dates of 12" 1985 part 2 and extra 1972, then they can fiddle with the release date of this
