Carlisle won their opening match. this season. Hope they can do better this season.

Kidderminster winning their opening match against Scarborough Athletic. Hopefully promotion will be our goal this season.

Morecambe FC have had their National League suspension lifted, after months of financial turmoil and the threat of expulsion from the division.

Following a meeting of the league's Club Compliance and Licensing committee on Sunday 17 August, the takeover has been formally approved.

Three days earlier, Owners Bond Group and investment firm Panjab Warriors agreed a deal for the sale of the club after more than a year of protracted talks and the Shrimps at risk of "immediate closure".
