Rangers really need to get at least something from the game as the gap is growing already only 3 games in. Rangers have drawn all 3 of their opening games!

Very poor for the Scottish clubs in Europe the past couple nights with Celtic, rangers, Aberdeen and Hibs all loosing their ties

Celtic and rangers drop down into the Europa league group stage, Aberdeen drop down to the conference league group stage and Hibs are out altogether

Dundee United were also knocked out of conference league qualifying in an earlier round

Celtic have agreed a £5.2m deal to sign Hammarby IF winger Sebastian Tounekti.

Sky Sports News revealed earlier today that the Hoops had made a third offer for the Tunisia international.

Striker Youssef Chermiti has completed his medical and signed a deal to join Rangers from Everton.

The move is worth an initial £8m, plus add-ons that could rise to £10m

Brendan Rogers has resigned as Celtic manager after the club sit 8 points behind leaders Hearts after loosing to them on Sunday. Martin O’Neill will take charge for the moment as his replacement!

Kieran McKenna being linked, he’d be a good appointment! An Irishman too so probably supports Celtic in some shape or form!

All 3 title contenders won this weekend (Hearts, Rangers, Celtic), Hearts still 3 points clear at the top with a game in hand over rangers in 2nd. They are aiming to be the first team outside the Glasgow 2 to win the league since 1985! I really hope they can do it, will be great to see someone else win it for a change

It would indeed be great to see the first non-Old Firm team to win the league in 41 years.

Claudio Braga rescued a point for Heart of Midlothian with a late equaliser as they fought out a thrilling draw with 10-man Celtic that leaves the Scottish Premiership leaders still six points clear of the reigning champions.

Benjamin Nygren's free-kick gave Celtic an early lead and, although Stuart Findlay headed a deserved equaliser, Yang Hyun-jun's goal on the break looked destined to give the Glasgow side their first win over Hearts in three meetings this season.

James Tavernier scored his 100th league goal for Rangers as they beat Dundee to overtake Celtic and move within four points of Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts.

Skipper Tavernier's second-half penalty and Danilo and Djeidi Gassama's late strikes ensured victory as Danny Rohl's side made it eight wins in a row in all competitions and took advantage of Hearts and Celtic's draw.

The hosts were awarded a spot-kick when Nico Raskin was caught by Ryan Astley after shooting over. The decision was upheld by the video assistant referee (VAR) and keeper Jon McCracken could only get a touch on Tavernier's shot.

Three red cards in one incident at Aberdeen yesterday.

Obviously a real good old bust up.

Rumour is a racist comment was made from Aberdeen player to Livingston player which resulted in a huge bust up where both players got sent off. Livingston manager Davie Martindale said his player was in tears in the dressing room and too upset to repeat what was said to him

(All rumours this is just what I read)

Good to see Hearts rescue a point today, I do think for them it was more a do not lose game, now they remain 6 points clear. Interesting to see Celtic drop to 3rd now and Rangers leapfrog them! Really enjoying a proper 3 way title race this season

Aberdeen will inspect the pitch at Pittodrie at 16:00 GMT to assess whether their Scottish Premiership game against Celtic can go ahead - while Dundee's match with Motherwell has been postponed.

Following heavy rain overnight in Angus, Dundee arranged a precautionary inspection with the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) and the decision was made to postpone the match "due to unprecedented rainfall".

"The borderline decision was made by the match referee, and details of the rearranged fixture will be made available as soon as possible," said a Dundee statement.
