so we were told we would get 4 singles of OF2, and so far we have had DB, HDL & Illegal, but the question is, what will be the final single? Will it be an actual track off the album, or will they release 'Pure Intuition' and use that as a single instead?

Personally, I dont think PI will get a release, and if it does it will be limited like the pepsi tracks.

Animal City should be released. It should've been released instead of Illegal. I have a feeling it will be Pure Intuition though. Maybe they will do a double A side with Animal City or Timor and have two videos on the channels. That way, the single has a previously unavailable track and something promoting the album.

I did tell Shakira Timor would be massive in the UK but she basically told me there was no chance of it being released. BOOOO!

ummmm. IF there is actually going to be a 4th single (which I do believe there isn't going to be) it should definately be Animal City, hands down. Illegal should never have been released. Only AC or HY, but these people messed everything up.

Timor would obviously do fantastic across europe... why release the rubbish that was illegal instead? anyway if she releases hey you in my opinion she has released 2 of the worst songs on the album -_- Costume makes the clown/timor or animal city should be released.... i wouldnt mind pure intuition either.. do you think the uk will actually get it? ... she needs to add more tour dates and the advert needs to get on the tv as soon as possible

pure intuition all the way!! pure intuition is really strong its distinctive, uptempo, has commercial appeal, its a positive song about love, great lyrics, has dance club appeal its can't fail!!

 

although its not on the album so maybe a double a side, i'd like to see PI to promote her european tour with animal city or risky timor

I love Illegal and it made me buy the album so shh it's good. :P

I think Illegal is a nice song, it just got lost in the christmas rush, it has an under-rated feeling around it, a simple song, but effective

I agree, but if someone said to you "this song is under rated and simple", would you go "THAT'S OUR SINGLE!"? I just don't understand when there are songs on that album that scream "SINGLE!!!" however uncommercial they may be.

I agree with Matty about it being lost in the rush/under promoted etc.

But I don't agree that it's not single worthy, I have the album too and although there are great songs on there I think that Illegal was a good choice and the video is really good too. It shows the Underneath Your Clothes side of Shakira again.

I think that if she wanted to release a ballad then it should have been DFP or YE, she was foolish to make DFP a B-side imo

Yeah, DFP should have defo been the ballad release.

 

I think they were cowards to go with Illegal, it's like they didn't want people to think that the upbeat songs weren't like HDL so they put out a crappy ballad.
