I've just watched the highlights. There's lots of pace and bounce in that pitch. England's more aggressive batting seems to have come off as they were at least able to score more runs in between each wicket than Australia were. Great bowling by Mitchell Starc and Ben Stokes in particular.

  • Agreed, it's hard to say whether it's a good score or not as so many of our batsmen went out to average balls or brain farts. Not sure the Aussies will make as many errors as we did, but our bowling i

  • I think this match will be over today before the lights come on. Australia's batting and bowling has been so much better than England's.

  • Oh Shit, we best not have this conversation lol. You most likely dislike mine as much as I dislike yours lol

It’s going to be an interesting Day 2.

I don’t think Australia will add many runs at all, if any. I suspect England will put the foot down and score 250+ putting the game out of reach.

Starc strikes again in the opening over for Australia taking the wicket of Crawley.

England 1-0, Crawley with a pear.

England all out for 164, they’ve set .australia a target a 205 for victory.

England in the favourites at this stage I think.

Now what will I do with my Sunday?!

Outstanding for Travis Head.

Pathetic batting by England in the second innings with each batsman trying to drive the ball outside off stump before playing himself in. They only batted for 68 overs in the match and will have to do much better in the second test. Fantastic innings by Travis Head to win the match.

It was captivating viewing really, how did it all fall apart?

It’ll be interesting to see how England respond in the second test which starts on December 4th in Brisbane.

Disappointing result from our viewpoint for the 1st test. Hope they can bounce back for the 4th.

At Ted in the Day/Night test England are 2 for 98, a very impressive fightback after being 2 for 5 in the 3rd over of the afternoon.
