  • Agreed, it's hard to say whether it's a good score or not as so many of our batsmen went out to average balls or brain farts. Not sure the Aussies will make as many errors as we did, but our bowling i

  • I think this match will be over today before the lights come on. Australia's batting and bowling has been so much better than England's.

Khawaja & Carey put on 91 before Khawaja loses his wicket. Australia now 231 for 5.

A ewal even day so far.If Australia can get to 300+ I think they'll be happy.

Stumps on Day 1 and Australia are 326 for 8. A pretty even day, but I’d have England ahead slightly at 55/45.

If Australia can now get to 350+ that would help set up a cracking second half to the first innings.

I'd put Australia ahead as I have no confidence in the England batting.

It was a good effort from their bowlers on day 1.

Superb effort from the England bowlers on Day 1.

I think England's batting will hold up this time. Though having Cummins back and an in form Starc is a huge help for Australia.

Australia bowled out for 371, adding an additional 45 runs from their overnight score.

Archer the best of the bowlers with figures of 5 for 53 off 20.2 overs.

England 6 down with Cummins picking up his third wicket. England 159 for 6.

Still 212 runs behind, 13 more needed to avoid the follow on.
