Posted October 16, 20251 yr Top 30 Best Carry Overs of 2024-2025This is a list of songs that were released or exploded in popularity in 2024. They also a) never got a chance to chart because of both my strict 2025 chart rules and my 2024 chart hiatus from May to December, or b) were supposed to have bigger impact last year but got muted because of said hiatus and only got to briefly chart in 2025.Additionally, two entries on this list are double features containing two separate songs. They will be from The Marías and Linkin Park. That is all. Enjoy, leave a comment, root for your favorites! 🔥30) Heavy is the Crown / The Emptiness Machine by Linkin Park 29) Defying Gravity by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande 28) Untamed by Lindsey Sterling 27) Samudera by Aisha Retno26) Weltita by Bad Bunny and Chuwi 25) Nissan Altima by Doechii 24) Change Me by BigXThaPlug 23) Lo Que Le Paso a Hawaii by Bad Bunny22) Denial is A River by Doechii21) Balloon by Tyler the Creator and Doechii20) Carita Triste by Ana Mena and Emilia 19) Messy by Lola Young 18) Lejos de Ti / Paranoia by The Marías17) I Always Wanted a Brother by Theo Somolu et al16) Toyo by KZ Tandingan 15) These Walls by Dua Lipa and Pierre de Maere 14) Garden Party by Madds Buckley and Mia Asano 13) Blue by Yung Kai 12) Don't Smile by Sabrina Carpenter11) The Painter by Cody Johnson 10) Run Your Mouth by The Marías 9) Come Play by Stray Kids, Young Miko, Tom Morello 8) Boyfriend by Allmo$t 7) Apt. by Rosé and Bruno Mars 6) Sticky by Tyler the Creator, GloRilla, Sexxy Red and Lil Wayne5) Florida by Taylor Swift and Florence and the Machine4) High Road by Koe Wetzel and Jessie Murph3) Una Velita by Bad Bunny 2) Nobody's Soldier by Hozier And the best song from 2024 which carried over into 2025...1) Die With a Smile by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga Edited October 16, 20251 yr by Violet Stallion
October 17, 20251 yr Hey Oliver! :) My highlight of this list is 'Florida!!!' in the Top 5.I also like that Doechii makes three appearances further down! Good chart yet again. Take care!
October 17, 20251 yr Wow, Oliver — what a stunning chart this week!Love seeing “Die With a Smile” holding strong at #1 — such a beautiful duet, Bruno and Gaga are pure magic together. Hozier climbing all the way to #2 with “Nobody’s Soldier” feels so deserved, what a hauntingly powerful track. Also loving the high placement for Taylor & Florence’s “Florida” — that pairing is chef’s kiss!Rosé & Bruno Mars’ “Apt.” is such a fun highlight — great to see it here. And Dua Lipa & Pierre de Maere’s “These Walls”? Totally addictive, love that collaboration.Big shoutout to Linkin Park’s “Heavy is the Crown / The Emptiness Machine” too — amazing to see them still delivering such energy after all these years.Incredible mix of genres this week — pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop, all perfectly balanced. One of your best charts yet!

One of your best charts yet! This is actually a year end chart of mine, so all of these highlights being on the list proper is a massive event, like the biggest of big deals (or at least it'll be until my Year of Champions was released. I will say though that hauntingly beautiful isn't how I'd describe Nobody's Soldier; it feels more like gritty and cynical as a political dig against the worst aspects of the military. But yeah, all of those collabs you both mentioned were fire ❤️🔥I do agree that Doechii was an amazing superstar, but truth be told I think the real winner would be The Marias. They'll have a lot of songs as honorable mention, not to mention they tie Doechii for the most entries here, albeit a lot higher.Thank you for commenting, I hope you're excited for what my 2025 Year End has to offer <3
