Posted January 22, 200718 yr Congratulations to Madonna as her fantastic "Confessions on a Dance Floor" CD earns a 4th Platinum certification in the UK. :cheer: (4x300,000=1,200,000) To date the album has sold 1,230 000 copies in the UK and became Madonna's 9th British number one album. :dance: The album delievered four British top ten singles, two of which hit number one. ;)

January 22, 200718 yr Its done very well, but still surprisingly below the sales of Music & Ray of light. I actually thought it would sell at least as much as its her best album in my opinion and she's released three top notch singles from it. But at least its sold alot better than American Life.

Maybe you ought to have this off topic conversation in the Madonna chat inc section. :) Yes this is Madonna's biggest selling studio album since 2000's 1.5 million seller 'Music'. Confessions has done 1.2 million now, i too thought it would hit 1.5 considering it had 2 big #1 hit singles and Madge wining a Brit award for it!! I reckon by the end of the year it'll go to 1.3. :)
