Born in Adelaide, Australia, in 1975, Furler started out singing in acts there and later in London. Her early solo albums did fine—with 2004’s “Breathe Me” memorably scoring the final sequence of HBO’s Six Feet Under—but it wasn’t until she started penning songs for other artists that her career took off. Furler’s writing made for some of the most bright-lined, all-caps pop of the 2010s, delivered by Beyoncé (“Pretty Hurts”), Britney Spears (“Perfume”), Katy Perry (“Double Rainbow”) and Rihanna (“Diamonds”). She answered that winning streak by belting out 2014’s “Chandelier”, a cathartic power ballad of self-empowerment that went multi-platinum in almost a dozen countries. Proving that it and the same year’s 1000 Forms of Fear were no fluke when it came to mainstream success, she hit her stride with 2016’s This Is Acting, a brashly exciting statement of individuality that made her two-colour oversized wig into an instant fashion icon that doubled as a shield against fame. Never one to follow a straight path, Furler went on to release a Christmas album, collaborate multiple times with EDM kingpin David Guetta and direct and also soundtrack the quirky 2021 movie musical Music. Her 2024 album Reasonable Woman surrounded her with equally distinctive feminine voices—Chaka Khan, Kylie Minogue, Tierra Whack, Paris Hilton—while reminding us just how openly adventurous and stubbornly catchy her arrangements can be. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History2000 10 Taken For Granted -1-2000 82 Little Man -2-2001 91 Drink To Get Drunk -3-2001 30 Destiny (Zero 7 feat. That was the art of Nathaniel Adams Coles, born in Montgomery, Alabama in 1919—he hid the sweat. His family joined the Great Migration of Black Southerners who moved North, in his case to Chicago, where Cole got a jazz combo together. Influenced by the light, punchy swing of pianist Earl Hines, Cole pioneered a cocktail trio sound that was fun and urbane. On '40s recordings like "Straighten Up and Fly Right," "Sweet Lorraine," and "It's Only a Paper Moon," he emerged as a jaunty (sometimes) singer and first-rate instrumentalist. If he'd stopped there, he'd still be celebrated today. Good thing he kept going. With zero vocal training, he discovered that his conversational baritone loved a ballad and audiences loved his singing. He transitioned to a pop-jazz sound, featuring big bands and orchestras. This was night-on-the-town Rat Pack music; songs like "(I Love You) For Sentimental Reasons," "Smile," and "When I Fall In Love" were almost courtly in their manners. An early convert to Latin rhythms, Cole learned enough Spanish to become an international icon in the '50s. Cole died in 1965, but he was on the charts again in 1991, duetting with his daughter Natalie on "Unforgettable" and a Grammy-crushing tribute album. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History1952 03 Somewhere Along The Way -1-1952 06 Because You're Mine -2-1953 10 Faith Can Move Mountains -3-1953 02 Pretend -1-1953 06 Can't I? -NAS-1953 07 Mother Nature And Father Time -1-1954 10 Tenderly -NAS-1954 02 Smile -NAS-1954 11 Make Her Mine -NAS-1955 03 A Blossom Fell -1-1955 17 My One Sin (In Life) -2-1956 10 Dreams Can Tell A Lie -1-1956 08 Too Young To Go Steady -2-1956 11 Love Me As Though There Were No Tomorrow -3-1957 02 When I Fall In Love -1-1957 28 When Rock 'N' Roll Came To Trinidad -NAS-1957 21 My Personal Possession -NAS-1957 24 Stardust -1-1959 22 You Made Me Love You -NAS-1959 23 Midnight Flyer -NAS-1960 23 Time And The River -NAS-1960 10 That's You -NAS-1960 18 Just As Much As Ever -NAS-1961 36 The World In My Arms -NAS-1961 29 Let True Love Begin -NAS-1962 34 Brazilian Love Song -NAS-1962 42 The Right Thing To Say -NAS-1962 11 Let There Be Love (Nat "King" Cole & George Shearing) -1-1962 05 Ramblin' Rose -1-1962 37 Dear Lonely Hearts -1-1988 84 Unforgettable -1-1991 21 The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas To You) -NAS-1994 30 Let's Face The Music And Dance -1-2023 50 Deck The Halls -AT-0 x #1 | 6 x Top 5 | 14 x Top 10 | 19 x Top 20 | 31 x Top 40 | 34 x Top 100Social Media Nat "King" Cole

Love was a founding member of the Blossoms in 1957. They did several sessions and were resident singers on the television show Shindig. Love sang lead vocals on "He's a Rebel," which was credited to the Crystals, and "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah," which was issued under the name Bob B. Soxx & the Blue Jeans. She cut six singles for Spector's Phillies label, with "Wait 'Til My Bobby Gets Back Home" the most successful. Love became busy as an actress, but reunited with Spector for the 1977 single "Lord, If You're a Woman." Love appeared in all four Lethal Weapon films, and was also in the Royal Shakespeare Company's co-production of Stephen King's Carrie. Her 1990 LP, Paint Another Picture, failed to chart in America. Love later toured as a background vocalist with Cher. She appeared briefly on the soap opera Another World in 1993 and later went on to appear as Motormouth Maybelle in the Broadway production of Hairspray. In October 2007, Love released It's Christmas, Of Course, a collection of holiday songs. Three years later, she was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In 2015, Love returned with the Steven Van Zandt-produced, Introducing Darlene Love, which featured songs by Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen, Linda Perry, Joan Jett, and others. - SpotifyTop 100 Chart History1992 31 All Alone On Christmas -OST-2017 20 Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) -AT- MILLIONAIRE0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 0 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 2 x Top 40 | 2 x Top 100Social Media Darlene Love

Formed in the late ’50s, the vocal group became the stuff of teenage rock ’n’ roll dreams when “Be My Baby” went to No. 2 on the U.S. pop singles chart in 1963. The hits kept coming. With their uptown glamour, the family act from New York City had the look that suddenly every girl wanted and, with Phil Spector behind the trio as producer, a sound like no one else. The Ronettes’ influence continues to reverberate through popular music. It’s there in The Jesus and Mary Chain’s mix of noisy rumble and sweetest melody. You can see it in Amy Winehouse’s beehive, eyeliner, and attitude. Ronnie Spector, the fearless lead singer with a voice like a chapel bell, was the blueprint—it was that voice, and her ability to evoke the euphoria of young love, that made The Ronettes the legends they are. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History1963 04 Be My Baby -1- MILLIONAIRE1964 11 Baby, I Love You -2-1964 43 (The Best Part Of) Breakin' Up -3-1964 35 Do I Love You? -4-2013 15 Sleigh Ride -AT- MILLIONAIRE0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 3 x Top 20 | 4 x Top 40 | 5 x Top 100Social Media The Ronettes

Born blind as a result of congenital glaucoma, Feliciano was five when his family moved from Puerto Rico to New York City. He began learning the concertina at age 6 before taking up the guitar when he was nine or 10. Feliciano quit high school at 17 and began performing in coffeehouses and cafes to help support his family. A rave review in the New York Times ran around the same time Feliciano signed a record deal with RCA. His career took off first in Argentina, where had a string of hits in the mid-’60s, including “Usted” and “Extraños en la Noche” in 1966 and “El Carcel de Sing Sing” in 1967. Feliciano’s breakthrough in the US came in 1968 on Feliciano!, an album of acoustic covers including songs by The Beatles, The Mamas and the Papas, and The Doors. Feliciano! reached No. 2, went gold, and received a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year. Feliciano’s version of “Light My Fire” peaked at No. 3 and won a Grammy for Best Male Contemporary Pop Performance. Feliciano also won the Grammy for Best New Artist. Only a handful of Feliciano’s subsequent LPs made the US charts, but he was an international star, and he has continued releasing albums at a steady clip, in English and Spanish. Though 1970’s “Feliz Navidad” is one of the 25 most-played holiday songs, the tune didn’t crack the charts until nearly 30 years after Feliciano first released it, reaching Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart in 1998. The song broke into the Hot 100 pop chart in 2017 and reached No. 6 in 2020. Feliciano’s song “Me Enamore,” the title track from his 1983 album, won a Grammy for Best Latin Pop Performance. He won the same award in 1986 for “Le Lo Lai,” from his album Amaré; in 1989 for “Cielito Lindo,” from I’m Never Gonna Change; and in 1990 for “Por Que Te Tengo Que Olvidar?,” from Niña. He won the Grammy for Best Tropical Latin Album in 2008 for Señor Bachata. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History1968 06 Light My Fire -1-1969 25 And The Sun Will Shine -2-2017 17 Feliz Navidad -1- MILLIONAIRE0 x #1 | 0 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 2 x Top 20 | 3 x Top 40 | 3 x Top 100Social Media José Feliciano

The creation of The Plastic Ono Band, which began in 1967 with Ono's idea for an art exhibition in Berlin, allowed Lennon to separate his artistic output from that of The Beatles. Lennon and Ono began a personal and artistic relationship in 1968, collaborating on several experimental releases. After their marriage in 1969, they decided their future endeavours would be credited to the Plastic Ono Band. The band featured a rotating line-up of musicians including Eric Clapton, Klaus Voormann, Alan White, Billy Preston, Jim Keltner, Keith Moon, Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, and Lennon's former Beatles bandmates George Harrison and Ringo Starr. After Lennon and Ono moved to New York in 1971, they collaborated with Elephant's Memory under the name "Plastic Ono Elephant's Memory Band". Lennon's collaborations continued under similar names until 1974. From 2009 to 2015, Ono and her son Sean Lennon led a new incarnation of the group, the Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band. - WikipediaTop 100 Chart HistoryJohn Lennon1970 05 Instant Karma (John Lennon & Yoko Ono with The Plastic Ono Band) -NAS-1971 07 Power To The People (John Lennon with The Plastic Ono Band) -NAS-1972 02 Happy Xmas (War Is Over) (John Lennon, Yoko Ono & The Plastic Ono Band with The Harlem Community Choir) -NAS- MILLIONAIRE1973 26 Mind Games -1-1974 36 Whatever Gets You Thru The Night (John Lennon with The Plastic Ono Nuclear Band) -1-1975 23 No 9 Dream -2-1975 30 Stand By Me -1-1975 01 Imagine -1- MILLION SELLER1980 01 (Just Like) Starting Over -1-1981 01 Woman -2-1981 30 Watching The Wheels -3-1981 40 I Saw Her Standing There (The Elton John Band & John Lennon)1982 41 Love -1-1984 06 Nobody Told Me -1-1984 32 Borrowed Time -2-1984 88 Steppin' Out (John Lennon & Yoko Ono) -3-1985 65 Jealous Guy -1-1988 45 Imagine / Jealous Guy3 x #1 | 5 x Top 5 | 7 x Top 10 | 7 x Top 20 | 14 x Top 40 | 18 x Top 100Yoko Ono1970 05 Instant Karma (John Lennon & Yoko Ono with The Plastic Ono Band) -NAS-1972 02 Happy Xmas (War Is Over) (John Lennon, Yoko Ono & The Plastic Ono Band with The Harlem Community Choir) -NAS- MILLIONAIRE1981 35 Walking On Thin Ice -NAS-1984 88 Steppin' Out (John Lennon & Yoko Ono)0 x #1 | 2 x Top 5 | 2 x Top 10 | 2 x Top 20 | 3 x Top 40 | 4 x Top 100The Plastic Ono Band1969 02 Give Peace A Chance -NAS-1969 14 Cold Turkey -NAS-1970 05 Instant Karma (John Lennon & Yoko Ono with The Plastic Ono Band) -NAS-1971 07 Power To The People (John Lennon with The Plastic Ono Band) -NAS-1972 02 Happy Xmas (War Is Over) (John Lennon, Yoko Ono & The Plastic Ono Band with The Harlem Community Choir) -NAS- MILLIONAIRE0 x #1 | 3 x Top 5 | 4 x Top 10 | 5 x Top 20 | 5 x Top 40 | 5 x Top 100The Harlem Community Choir1972 02 Happy Xmas (War Is Over) (John Lennon, Yoko Ono & The Plastic Ono Band with The Harlem Community Choir) MILLIONAIRE0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100Social Media John Lennon Yoko Ono The Plastic Ono Band The Harlem Community Choir

Her band, No Doubt, became a multi-platinum phenomenon with their third album, 1995’s Tragic Kingdom, thanks in large part to Stefani’s engaging mix of alt-rock spunk and old-school glamour. But if feisty self-empowerment anthems like “Just a Girl” presented young women with a bubblier, cheekier alternative to Courtney Love’s raw feminist rage, the aching ballad “Don’t Speak” revealed a singer more beholden to Madonna’s blonde ambition. After gradually drifting from the mosh pit to the dance floor with each subsequent record, No Doubt went on hiatus in 2004, freeing up Stefani to pursue her own maximalist vision of pop music as a solo artist/fashion mogul/one-woman multimedia enterprise. Whether giving traditional cheerleader chants a steroid boost on “Hollaback Girl”, putting a 21st-century spin on streetwise soul with “The Sweet Escape”, or slinking into the after-hours club on “Make Me Like You”, Stefani’s songs go off like confetti cannons—colourful explosions of discotheque euphoria and irreverent theatricality that have encouraged next-gen entertainers like Miley Cyrus and Charli XCX to be as brash as they wanna be. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart HistoryGwen Stefani2001 04 Let Me Blow Ya Mind (Eve feat. In just two years, he had graduated from the Little Richard worship of 1963’s “I Saw Her Standing There” to the exquisite orchestral balladry of “Yesterday”—a shift that intensified the contrast between McCartney and his increasingly acerbic songwriting partner, John Lennon. But as The Beatles’ entered their late-’60s experimental phase—during which Lennon’s avant-garde impulses came to the fore—McCartney’s traditionalism constituted its own form of radicalism. Within the band’s psychedelic milieu, his embrace of pre-rock forms, like classical (“Eleanor Rigby”) and English music-hall serenades (“When I’m Sixty-Four”), felt no less surreal than The Beatles' use of tape-loop freak-outs and sitar drones. (And this is to say nothing of Paul's sublime bass playing, which elevated the four-string from rhythmic undercurrent to melodic focal point.) His post-Beatles albums have proven equally uncanny and influential: 1971’s art-folk opus Ram provided the lo-fi schematic for future generations of DIY home-recording artists, while the arena-rattling roar of “Jet”, from McCartney's subsequent band Wings’ 1973 LP Band on the Run, shows why he’s become a muse to hard rockers such as Dave Grohl. And by continually collaborating with the hitmakers of the day—from Michael Jackson in the 1980s to Rihanna and Kanye West in the 2010s—he has remained a voracious pop omnivore, as connected to music's past as its future. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History1971 02 Another Day -NAS-1971 39 Back Seat Of My Car (Paul McCartney & Linda McCartney) -1-1973 09 My Love (Paul McCartney & Wings) -1-1973 09 Live And Let Die (Paul McCartney & Wings) -OST-1973 12 Helen Wheels (Paul McCartney & Wings) -1-1974 07 Jet (Paul McCartney & Wings) -2-1974 03 Band On The Run (Paul McCartney & Wings) -3-1974 16 Junior's Farm (Paul McCartney & Wings) -NAS-1975 41 Letting Go (Paul McCartney & Wings) -1-1979 60 Getting Closer / Baby's Request (Paul McCartney & Wings) -1-1979 06 Wonderful Christmastime -NAS- MILLIONAIRE1980 02 Coming Up -1-1980 09 Waterfalls -2-1982 01 Ebony And Ivory (Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder) -1-1982 15 Take It Away -2-1982 53 Tug Of War -3-1982 08 The Girl Is Mine (Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney)1983 02 Say Say Say (Paul McCartney & Michael Jackson) -1-1983 01 Pipes Of Peace -2-1984 02 No More Lonely Nights -1-1984 03 We All Stand Together (Paul McCartney & The Frog Chorus) -NAS-1985 13 Spies Like Us -NAS-1986 25 Press -1-1986 76 Pretty Little Head -2-1986 34 Only Love Remains -3-1987 10 Once Upon A Long Ago -1-1989 01 Ferry 'Cross The Mersey (The Christians, Holly Johnson, Paul McCartney, Gerry Marsden & Stock Aitken Waterman)1989 18 My Brave Face -1-1989 18 This One -2-1989 42 Figure Of Eight -3-1990 32 Put It There -4-1990 29 Birthday -1-1990 35 All My Trials -2-1993 18 Hope Of Deliverance -1-1993 41 C'Mon People -2-1997 19 Young Boy -1-1997 23 The World Tonight -2-1997 25 Beautiful Night -3-1999 42 No Other Baby -1-1999 87 Voice (Heather Mills feat. It was founded in 1984 by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise money for anti-famine efforts in Ethiopia by releasing the song "Do They Know It's Christmas?" for the Christmas market that year. On 25 November 1984, the song was recorded at Sarm West Studios in Notting Hill, London, and was released in the UK on Monday 3 December. The single surpassed the hopes of the producers to become the Christmas number one on that release. Three subsequent re-recordings of the song to raise further money for charity also topped the charts, first the Band Aid II version in 1989 and the Band Aid 20 version in 2004 and finally the Band Aid 30 version in 2014. The original was produced by Midge Ure. The 12" version was mixed by Trevor Horn. - WikipediaTop 100 Chart History1984 01 Do They Know It's Christmas? -NAS- MILLION SELLER1989 01 Do They Know It's Christmas? Born Dino Paul Crocetti in Steubenville, OH, in 1917, Martin grew up far from the booze- and broads-filled good life of his later years: He was the son of a barber, and he spoke only Italian until age five. He dropped out of school at age 16 and tried his hand variously as a boxer (known as “Kid Crochet”), a steel-mill worker, a gas-station attendant, and a speakeasy croupier. But Martin was allergic to working life, and he found his ticket with nightclub singing, inspired by his hero Bing Crosby. He was blessed with a mellow, buttery tenor, and he got his first big break in Atlantic City, performing opposite the comedian Jerry Lewis. The gig—originally meant to be temporary—unveiled Martin and Lewis’s vaudevillian improvisational genius. Whereas Martin was all charm and sophistication, Lewis was the anarchic delinquent, and audiences loved it: They made 16 movies in 11 years before an acrimonious split. Meanwhile, Martin was recording jazzy, insouciant hits that played on his Italian heritage, such as 1953’s “That’s Amore” and 1958’s “Volare.” After his split with Lewis, Dino found himself a new niche as part of the Rat Pack with Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr., costarring in a series of comedies that cemented his image. He showed serious acting chops in films like 1959’s Rio Bravo, had his own television show from 1965 onward, and continued to seduce listeners with sly songs like “Ain’t That a Kick In the Head” and “You’re Nobody ’Til Somebody Loves You.” He died in 1995. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History1953 05 Kiss -NAS-1954 02 That's Amore -1-1954 06 Sway -NAS-1954 15 How Do You Speak To An Angel -1-1955 05 The Naughty Lady Of Shady Lane -1-1955 14 Mambo Italiano -2-1955 03 Let Me Go Lover -3-1955 06 Under The Bridges Of Paris -NAS-1956 01 Memories Are Made Of This -NAS-1956 20 Young And Foolish -NAS-1956 21 Innamorata -1-1957 21 The Man Who Plays The Mandolino -NAS-1958 02 Return To Me -1-1958 02 Volare -2-1964 11 Everybody Loves Somebody -1-1964 42 The Door Is Still Open To My Heart -1-1969 02 Gentle On My Mind -1-2007 12 Let It Snow! Instantly recognisable thanks to her signature ponytail and breezy self-confidence, Grande, born in Florida in 1993, has developed a slyly sexual personal brand that has, like that of the Spice Girls before her, become an iconic image of young female power. But Grande is more than a symbol: over the course of several albums and scores of hit singles across the genre spectrum—beginning with 2013’s R&B crooner “The Way” (featuring Mac Miller) and continuing through to an EDM collab with Zedd (“Break Free”), slinky retro-soul (“Dangerous Woman”) and diva trap-pop (“7 rings”)—she has consistently outshined her male collaborators and deftly parlayed her stardom into activism. An LGBTQ+ advocate and outspoken feminist, she has long used her platform to confront misogyny, sexism, homophobia and bullying, spreading a message of love over all. Her Max Martin-produced smash “no tears left to cry”, an escapist dance-floor triumph released a year after a deadly terrorist attack at one of her concerts in 2017, and its subsequent album, Sweetener, sent a message of hope and healing, with a dose of hear-me-roar attitude. Grande’s pop vision has since focused inward, using music as a therapeutic tool for spiritual growth. After experiencing a devastating personal loss with the death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller in 2018, she re-emerged with 2019’s thank u, next, an elegiac album that was as therapeutic as it was dance-ready, with a title track that sends off ex-lovers with a gentle kiss on the cheek. The following year’s pandemic-written Positions highlights Grande’s mellifluous vocals and her desire to be content in love—even when boasting about her sexual prowess (as on the cheeky “34+35”), the real star of her heart is her own self. And on her lush, auto-fictitious 2024 concept album, eternal sunshine, she glides with a coy smile and a heavenly whistle through the emotions of a woman betrayed, perceived and adored, with a short wave to critics and tabloids on the pulsing house groove of “yes, and?” - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History2013 41 The Way (feat. Rea started out performing with a local group called Magdalene, taking David Coverdale's place; the band won a national talent contest in 1975 as the Beautiful Losers, but still failed to get a record contract. Rea left the band and recorded the album Whatever Happened to Benny Santini? (an allusion to a discarded stage name), which went gold on the strength of the U.S. Top 20 hit "Fool (If You Think It's Over)." Rea was not heard from again in the U.S. for some time, concentrating his efforts on his main fan base in Europe. A compilation of tracks from Rea's '80s albums, New Light Through Old Windows, was released in 1988 and sold well in the U.K. and Europe and charted in the U.S. Rea followed it up with the critically acclaimed The Road to Hell, which many regarded as his best album. The Road to Hell and its follow-up, Auberge, went to the top of the U.K. album charts, but did not prove as successful in the U.S., where he has failed to chart with his subsequent releases. He released his most ambitious project in 2005, an 11-album, 130-track box set of all new material inspired by the blues and his own paintings called Blue Guitars. The fun The Return of the Fabulous Hofner Blue Notes appeared in 2008. - SpotifyTop 100 Chart History1978 30 Fool (If You Think It's Over) -1-1979 44 Diamonds -1-1982 65 Loving You -1-1983 85 Let It Loose -1-1983 60 I Can Hear Your Heartbeat -2-1984 65 I Don't Know What It Is But I Love It -1-1984 86 Touche D'Amour -2-1984 78 Ace Of Hearts -3-1985 26 Stainsby Girls -1-1985 67 Josephine -2-1986 69 It's All Gone -1-1986 12 On The Beach -2-1986 79 Hello Friend -3-1987 12 Let's Dance -1-1987 47 Loving You Again -2-1987 67 Joys Of Christmas -3-1988 73 Que Sera -4-1988 10 Driving Home For Christmas -NAS- MILLIONAIRE1989 53 Working On It -1-1989 10 The Road To Hell (Part 2) -1-1989 83 That's What They Always Say -2-1990 24 Tell Me There's A Heaven -3-1990 69 Texas -4-1991 16 Auberge -1-1991 57 Heaven -2-1991 49 Looking For The Summer -3-1991 27 Winter Song -4-1992 16 Nothing To Fear -1-1992 31 God's Great Banana Skin -2-1993 53 Soft Top Hard Shoulder -3-1993 18 Julia -1-1994 28 You Can Go Your Own Way -1-1996 77 Girl In A Sports Car -1-1996 41 'Disco' La Passione (Chris Rea & Shirley Bassey) -1-1997 44 Let's Dance (Middlesbrough FC feat. He was the UK's biggest-selling singles artist of the 1980s. His recording and performing career began in the late 1960s, although it was not until 1980 that his commercial success began. His most successful songs were nostalgia hits, evoking the sound of 1950s rock and roll and pop. In the UK alone, Stevens has charted 33 Top 40 hit singles including four chart-topping hits "This Ole House", "Green Door", "Oh Julie", and "Merry Christmas Everyone"; his last Top 40 single was "Trouble" in 2005 apart from his Christmas song, which has re-entered the UK Singles Chart each December since 2007. - WikipediaTop 100 Chart History1980 24 Hot Dog -1-1980 19 Marie Marie -1-1981 01 This Ole House -2-1981 02 You Drive Me Crazy -1-1981 01 Green Door -2-1981 10 It's Raining -3-1982 01 Oh Julie -1-1982 06 Shirley -2-1982 11 Give Me Your Heart Tonight -3-1982 10 I'll Be Satisfied -4-1982 02 The Shakin' Stevens EP -EP-1983 11 It's Late -1-1983 03 Cry Just A Little Bit -2-1984 05 A Rockin' Good Way (Shakin' Stevens & Bonnie Tyler) -3-1984 02 A Love Worth Waiting For -4-1984 10 A Letter To You -1-1984 05 Teardrops -2-1985 14 Breaking Up My Heart -3-1985 11 Lipstick, Powder And Paint -1-1985 01 Merry Christmas Everyone -NAS- MILLIONAIRE1986 15 Turning Away -2-1986 14 Because I Love You -1-1987 12 A Little Boogie Woogie (In The Back Of My Mind) -21987 24 Come See About Me -31987 05 What Do You Want To Make Those Eyes At Me For -4-1988 26 Feel The Need In Me -NAS-1988 47 How Many Tears Can You Hide -1-1988 23 True Love -2-1989 58 Jezebel -3-1989 28 Love Attack -1-1990 18 I Might -2-1990 60 Yes I Do -3-1990 59 Pink Champagne -4-1990 75 My Cutie Cutie -5-1990 19 The Best Christmas Of Them All -1-1991 34 I'll Be Home This Christmas -2-2005 20 Trouble / This Ole House -1-4 x #1 | 11 x Top 5 | 15 x Top 10 | 25 x Top 20 | 32 x Top 40 | 37 x Top 100Social Media Shakin' Stevens

His single "Jingle Bell Rock" first became a hit in 1957, and it reappeared on the charts four of the following five years to become an all-time Christmas classic. Before he was pigeonholed, though, Helms had a successful country career with two number one hits to his credit. Born on August 15, 1933, in Bloomington, IN, Helms first performed on his father Fred's Monroe County Jamboree, singing while brother Freddie played guitar. The Helms Brothers, as they were billed, became a regional attraction. Bobby later cut a single called "Tennessee Rock and Roll," but then returned to Bloomington to appear on the Hayloft Frolic television show. While on the program, he was encouraged to go to Nashville to sing background vocals on an Ernest Tubb session. Tubb recommended him to Decca Records, and the label signed him in 1956. His debut single, "Fraulein," initially flopped in January 1957 but then hit number one on the country chart in April. (The song also hit the pop Top 40 in July of 1957.) In October, Helms released another number one, "My Special Angel," which stayed four weeks at the top and crossed over to number seven pop. Helms' next recording was "Jingle Bell Rock"; though Decca released it only two days before Christmas 1957, the single still peaked at number six on the pop chart. Two 1958 singles -- "Just a Little Lonesome" and "Jacqueline" -- hit the country Top Ten but flopped elsewhere, though a reissue of "Jingle Bell Rock" made the pop Top 40. The country single "Lonely River Rhine" hit the Top 20 in 1960, but subsequent new material from Helms had little success. (Decca reissued his Christmas hit each year from 1960 to 1962 with diminishing returns.) Helms toured throughout the '60s and recorded two albums for Kapp in 1966, I'm the Man and Sorry My Name Isn't Fred -- a nod either to brother Freddie or father Fred. Two years later, he released All New Just for You on the Little Darlin' label. Several singles placed modestly on the country charts during 1967-1968, including "He Thought He'd Die Laughing" and "So Long." The 1970 Certron single "Mary Goes 'Round" was his last hit, but Helms recorded Pop-a-Billy for MCA as late as 1983. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History1957 22 My Special Angel -1-1958 30 No Other Baby -NAS-1958 20 Jacqueline -NAS-2017 05 Jingle Bell Rock -NAS- MILLIONAIRE0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 2 x Top 20 | 4 x Top 40 | 4 x Top 100Social Media Bobby Helms

Adjusted for inflation, you’re talking about something more like $25,000. But John had a show to put on, and wouldn’t that be something to talk about? The excess was always apparent: the rhinestones, the costumery, the old Hollywood glamour retrofitted for a new, gender-bending world. But beneath the feathers, John’s music—written with the lyricist Bernie Taupin—was direct and unpretentious, the kind of rock ’n’ roll storytelling that met you where you were. Even if you didn’t know exactly what it meant—who is the dancer, and why are they so tiny?—the feeling was immediate, universal. By 1973’s Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, John said they were writing a couple of songs at breakfast and recording them before lunch. This was pop music, John argued: You weren’t supposed to think about it too much, and god help you if you did. And yet here we are, singing the songs five decades later. Born Reginald Dwight in Pinner, England, in 1947, John took to the piano young, studying on a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music while obsessively listening to Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard. They were so physical, John marvelled—they didn’t just play the piano, they beat it. He started playing in pubs at 15 and, around 20, met Taupin through a want ad in a music magazine. There were good years and bad ones, highs and lows—that handful of Valium before jumping into the swimming pool in 1975, for example, or the disco album, which John himself described as jumping on a dying bandwagon—but he has always endured, emerging from the debauchery of the ’70s and redefinitions of the ’80s bruised but never beaten, a gay icon, AIDS activist, philanthropist, Knight Bachelor, and father of two. In 2018, nearly 50 years after his debut album, he embarked on a three-year farewell tour, and published his first autobiography, Me, in 2019. The host of Apple Music 1’s Rocket Hour, Elton has been the recipient of countless awards (Grammys, Oscars, BRITs, Tonys, Ivors), has been knighted by Queen Elizabeth II and, in 2020, was awarded the Companion of Honour. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History1971 04 Your Song -1- MILLIONAIRE1972 02 Rocket Man -1- MILLIONAIRE1972 31 Honky Cat -2-1972 05 Crocodile Rock -1-1973 04 Daniel -2-1973 07 Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting -1*-1973 06 Goodbye Yellow Brick Road -2*-1973 07 Step Into Christmas -NAS- MILLIONAIRE1974 11 Candle In The Wind -3*-1974 16 Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me -1-1974 15 The Bitch Is Back -2-1974 10 Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds -NAS-1975 12 Philadelphia Freedom (The Elton John Band) -NAS-1975 22 Someone Saved My Life Tonight -1-1975 14 Island Girl -1-1976 07 Pinball Wizard -OST-1976 01 Don't Go Breaking My Heart (Elton John & Kiki Dee) -NAS- MILLION SELLER1976 37 Benny And The Jets -4*-1976 11 Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word -1-1977 27 Crazy Water -2-1977 28 Bite Your Lip / Chicago (Elton John & Kiki Dee) -3-1978 34 Ego -NAS-1978 15 Part Time Love -1-1978 04 Song For Guy -2-1979 01 Are You Ready For Love -1-1980 33 Little Jeannie -1-1980 44 Sartorial Eloquence (Don't Ya Wanna Play This Game No More?) -2-1981 40 I Saw Her Standing There (The Elton John Band & John Lennon) -NAS-1981 42 Nobody Wins -1-1982 08 Blue Eyes -1-1982 51 Empty Garden (Hey Hey Johnny) -2-1983 05 I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues -1-1983 04 I'm Still Standing -2- MILLIONAIRE1983 20 Kiss The Bride -3-1983 33 Cold As Christmas (In The Middle Of The Year) -4-1984 07 Sad Songs (Say So Much) -1-1984 05 Passengers -2-1984 50 Who Wears These Shoes? -3-1985 59 Breaking Hearts (Ain't What It Used To Be) -4-1985 32 Act Of War (Elton John & Millie Jackson) -NAS-1985 03 Nikita -1-1985 12 Wrap Her Up -2-1986 47 Cry To Heaven -3-1986 45 Heartache All Over The World -1-1986 44 Slow Rivers (Elton John & Cliff Richard) -2-1987 59 Flames Of Paradise (Jennifer Rush & Elton John)1987 85 Your Song (Live) -1-1988 05 Candle In The Wind (Live) -2-1988 30 I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That -1-1988 74 Town Of Plenty -2-1988 91 A Word In Spanish -3-1989 41 Through The Storm (Aretha Franklin & Elton John)1989 45 Healing Hands -1-1989 55 Sacrifice -2-1990 01 Sacrifice / Healing Hands -3-1990 47 Club At The End Of The Street / Whispers -4-1990 33 You Gotta Love Someone -1-1990 63 Easier To Walk Away -2-1991 01 Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me (George Michael & Elton John) -1^-1992 10 The One -1-1992 31 Runaway Train (Elton John & Eric Clapton) -OST-1992 21 The Last Song -2-1993 44 Simple Life -3-1993 02 True Love (Elton John & Kiki Dee) -2^-1994 07 Don't Go Breaking My Heart (Elton John & RuPaul) -3^-1994 24 Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing (Marcella Detroit & Elton John) -4^-1994 14 Can You Feel The Love Tonight -OST-1994 11 Circle Of Life -OST-1995 15 Believe -1-1995 18 Made In England -2-1996 33 Please -3-1997 01 Something About The Way You Look Tonight / Candle In The Wind '97 -1- MILLION SELLER1998 16 Recover Your Soul -2-1998 32 If The River Can Bend -3-1999 10 Written In The Stars (Elton John & LeAnn Rimes) -1-2001 09 I Want Love -1-2002 24 This Train Don't Stop There Anymore -2-2002 39 Original Sin -3-2002 01 Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word (Blue feat. But what’s most amazing about the Texan sweetheart’s Cinderella story is not how she earned that first burst of reality-TV glory but how she extended her 15 minutes to weather setbacks and forge a career as one of music’s best-loved performers. Clearly Clarkson’s power and versatility as a vocalist were equaled by her determination and resilience, qualities she displayed when she shifted away from pop ballads like her Idol signature song “A Moment Like This” toward spunkier declarations of autonomy like 2004’s “Since U Been Gone” and 2011’s “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You).” Those hits proved Clarkson was just as happy rocking out as she was demonstrating her fervent love for pop, country, and R&B. They also showed how even major-league song doctors like Max Martin had to conform to Clarkson’s style and sensibility, not the other way around. Her eighth consecutive album to debut in the top three spots on the Billboard album charts, 2017’s Meaning of Life was her most confident and well-rounded statement to date. The single “Heat,” an irresistible gospel-house hit fueled by Clarkson’s unbeatable spirit and limitless energy, proved she could cut it as a club diva, too. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History2003 06 Miss Independent -1-2003 35 Low -2-2005 05 Since U Been Gone -1- MILLIONAIRE2005 09 Behind These Hazel Eyes -2-2005 07 Because Of You -3- MILLIONAIRE2006 21 Walk Away -4-2006 22 Breakaway -5-2007 09 Never Again -1-2009 01 My Life Would Suck Without You -1-2009 36 I Do Not Hook Up -2-2009 66 Already Gone -3-2011 04 Mr. Know It All -1-2012 08 What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) -2- MILLIONAIRE2012 40 Dark Side -3-2012 51 Catch My Breath -1-2013 05 Underneath The Tree -1- MILLIONAIRE2015 07 Heartbeat Song -1-2015 21 Second Hand Heart (Ben Haenow feat. The latter was a vital vocal interpreter—witness his melancholy turn on Ewan MacColl’s “Dirty Old Town”—and crafted lyrics about deeply flawed characters (the toxic couple of “Fairytale of New York”) and the bittersweet nature of life (the hard-living bar denizens in "Sally MacLennane" and the nostalgic narrators of “A Pair of Brown Eyes”, both found on 1985’s Elvis Costello–produced Rum Sodomy & the Lash). MacGowan never lost sight of the humanity beneath the surface, which gave his music great depth. The Pogues parted ways with him in the early ’90s over his erratic behaviour but continued on as a band, earning a modest global hit in 1993 with the jangly “Tuesday Morning”. However, the story had a happy ending: in 2001, MacGowan enjoyed a well-deserved victory lap with The Pogues, touring with them on and off until 2014. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart HistoryThe Pogues1985 72 Pair Of Brown Eyes -1-1985 51 Sally MacLennane -2-1985 62 Dirty Old Town -3-1986 29 Poguetry In Motion -EP-1986 42 Haunted -OST-1987 08 The Irish Rover (The Pogues & The Dubliners) -NAS-1987 02 Fairytale Of New York (feat. Born in Melbourne in 1968, Kylie Minogue got her start in acting, debuting on the soap opera Neighbours in her teen years and almost immediately becoming one of the nation’s most beloved television actors. A benefit performance led to the release of her first single, a cover of Little Eva’s “The Loco-Motion,” in 1987; it became a hit in Australia, and her 1988 re-recording of it, helmed by the superproducer team Stock Aitken Waterman, was a smash in the rest of the world. The new version was included on her 1988 debut, Kylie, a collection of frothy pop highlighted by the sparkling “I Should Be So Lucky.” Minogue continued her relationship with SAW until the 1993 release of Kylie Minogue, which was recorded with club-oriented producers including M People and Brothers In Rhythm. Her aesthetic matured during the ’90s, both in her solo work and on the Nick Cave duet “Where the Wild Roses Grow.” In 2001, the slick “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” blew up in clubs and on the radio, and its accompanying album, Fever, featuring the buoyant “Love At First Sight” and the sinuous “Come Into My World,” re-established Minogue as a pop force. In the years that followed, she worked with pop gurus like Stuart Price and Greg Kurstin on tracks such as the sumptuous “All the Lovers” and the peppy “Wow,” flirted with country and disco, indulged her art-house side in films like Holy Motors, and embarked on ambitious tours that showcased her flair for the dramatic—and her long-honed ability to captivate audiences. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart HistoryKylie Minogue1988 01 I Should Be So Lucky -1-1988 02 Got To Be Certain -2-1988 02 The Loco-Motion -3-1988 02 Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi -4-1988 01 Especially For You (Kylie Minogue & Jason Donovan) -NAS- MILLION SELLER1989 01 Hand On Your Heart -1-1989 02 Wouldn't Change A Thing -2-1989 04 Never Too Late -3-1990 01 Tears On My Pillow -4-1990 02 Better The Devil You Know -1-1990 04 Step Back In Time -2-1991 06 What Do I Have To Do? -3-1991 06 Shocked -4-1991 16 Word Is Out -1-1991 04 If You Were With Me Now (Kylie Minogue & Keith Washington) -2-1991 49 Keep On Pumpin' It (Visionmasters feat. At nine years old, Lee joined the cast of the TV show Ozark Jubilee after impressing host Red Foley with her rendition of “Jambalaya.” Her first hit, “One Step At A Time,” released when she was 12, peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Country chart and No. 43 on the Hot 100. Lee’s most famous single, 1958’s “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree,” initially only sold 5,000 copies, but by 1978 it had sold 5 million and continues to be one of the most-played holiday songs. From 1958 to 1962, she had 10 consecutive Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100—a record for a female solo artist that she held for more than 20 years. The 1960 hit “I’m Sorry” earned Lee her first of four Grammy nominations, and and she was honored with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009. She was inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame in 1997 and the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2002, making her the first woman to earn both distinctions. John Lennon once referred to Brenda Lee as the greatest rock ’n’ roll voice of all time. - Apple MusicTop 100 Chart History1960 04 Sweet Nothin's -2'-1960 12 I'm Sorry -3'-1960 31 I Want To Be Wanted -1-1961 12 Let's Jump The Broomstick -1'-1961 45 Emotions -1-1961 22 Dum Dum -1*-1961 38 Fool #1 -1-1962 46 Break It To Me Gently -1^-1962 03 Speak To Me Pretty -2*-1962 05 Here Comes That Feeling -NAS-1962 15 It Started All Over Again -NAS-1962 03 Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree -1"- MILLIONAIRE1963 07 All Alone Am I -1-1963 10 Losing You -2^-1963 14 I Wonder -1-1963 28 Sweet Impossible You -NAS-1964 05 As Usual -2-1964 26 Think -1~-1964 17 Is It True? -NAS-1964 25 Christmas Will Be Just Another Lonely Day -2"-1965 41 Thanks A Lot -NAS-1965 22 Too Many Rivers -2~-0 x #1 | 4 x Top 5 | 7 x Top 10 | 12 x Top 20 | 19 x Top 40 | 22 x Top 100Social Media Brenda Lee
