Posted December 27, 2025Dec 27 I don't know how to compare short (almost) perfect career with big names like Madonna, who had many hits, but also a lot weak/average singles. That's why it's just a list and not a countdown. Only my top 10 will be in the preference order.Yes, I love beautiful blonde singers and never denied that.If you don't share/understand it, so will be better don't post any comments in this thread.Kristina Ivanova ❤️ Edited December 27, 2025Dec 27 by Last Dreamer
December 27, 2025Dec 27 Author Before a main list we will do a long journey into 1920s music and you will know the name of oldest female singer, which I like.Ruth EttingCountry : United StatesShe was born in 1896 year, for comparison Vera Lynn was born in 1917. Ruth had many hits in 1920s and 1930s decades.Let's listen "After You've Gone" from 1927 year, which was the first her song, which I found on Youtube. Edited December 27, 2025Dec 27 by Last Dreamer
December 27, 2025Dec 27 Thats a really nice recording for something almost 100 years old! The romantic lyrics of that era often bordered on cliche but its rather sweet hearing terms like "dearie" that have dropped out of use. She has a nice voice in the singing style of the 20s and is mostly new to me though i have heard of her. When i was a kid a big singing star of that era was appearing in TV shows as an older actor so he was the first I really was aware of - Rudy Vallee. Ruth singing voice and style has weathered better though!
December 28, 2025Dec 28 Author For the start I wanted to select the act, which nobody will not include in their all-time best list. There were many interesting choices, but I wish to start with her.In the end it will be interesting to count the acts, which you didn't know before. I predict the best result somewhere near 20 out of 100.Kat McSnatchCountry : AustraliaMy song choice : Love"You Are A C##t" became small viral hit on Youtube in 2014 year, but there are some other funny tracks on "Respectable Member".Other favourite songs :I Don't Like You : www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-k_dbOr1jYWhy You Want Me : www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dmrovfh6CK0You Are A C##t : www.youtube.com/watch?v=0doSWS0Fj24 Edited December 28, 2025Dec 28 by Last Dreamer

January 5Jan 5 Clodagh was a fave when I was a kid and teen, loved her first 2 hits, and Eurovision song was good too, and Lady Love Bug was fun, I managed to tape that off the radio at the time. Save Me was fab in 1976 too. Marina's had some good stuff over the last decade or so, too, but my love is for Clodagh, being old and all that 😄
