Oh hi Kimi!

So close for Ogura and Aprilia's 2nd podium lockout! Bagnaia deserved his podium, however.

MotoGP considers four safety changes after Catalunya inci...

MotoGP is considering four significant new safety measures after the Catalunya accidents involving Alex Marquez and Johann Zarco.

Proposals under discussion:

  1. starting grid space (unanimous with all 11 teams)

  2. holeshot device ban

  3. additional protection around rear wheel and swingarm area

  4. Crash Warning System

All championship contenders BUT Acosta & Marc crashed out.

Martin has been sent to medical center. Hopefully he's ok.

Zarco hasn't been declaared fit yet, unfortunately. Crutchlow will continue racing at Assen next week.

Ai Ogura's pole today is the first pole position by a Japanese rider since Takaaki Nakagami at Teruel (Aragón) six years ago.

Bezzecchi another blunderclass Saturday alongside Acosta, while Marc, Diggia, and Martin unable to capitalize their mistakes. Well done to Pecco and Ogura.

welp, he shouldn't worry at all because all the blame and secondhand embarrassment will be heading to The Boss VR46 himself.

Such a shame for the Irish Casey O'Gorman as his first Moto3 podium contention ends on the gravel

this is why our Indonesian MotoGP normies need to stfu and leave their football tribalism away.

Well done to our SEAbling, the 2025 RedBull Rookies Cup Champion Hakim Danish, for his maiden Moto3 win. First Malaysian winner since Sachsenring 2016.

To no one's surprise, Marc is the fastest rider to capitalize the c'ship leader's another silly mistake.

Bezzecchi's Big Boss Valentino Rossi and fellow Academy friend Luca Marini have given their thoughts about his Sunday ban:

I think that Marco did a mistake, but, sincerely, I didn’t expect that he couldn’t race. But it is like this.”

-Valentino Rossi-

Well, I agree.

It's true that in that moment we have a lot of adrenaline as riders, so he [Beezzecchi] understood I think his mistake. He explained, he apologised and everything, so everybody agrees on his behaviour of today. We need to always be against violence even if it is nothing crazy, but it's a behaviour that is not acceptable in any sport.

So, at the end the penalty is big, but because it never happened before. Sometimes in the past we had some pushing or some shouting to the marshal, and like this it never happened, so I can understand also the stewards taking this decision. It's making everything more loud because Bez is the championship leader. If he was the last rider on the grid, maybe it would pass everything more calm, I think. So, I think that everybody can understand the stewards and also Bez for sure, he understood his mistake. I want to say that everybody here is for sure in the same direction, that we are against any kind of violence.”

I think that every rider that is here in this paddock saw the penalty and said ‘Okay, understood.’

But it's correct, like this, because at the end it's like they did a fantastic job for me in Moto3, putting more penalty for slowing down in the line, for causing crashes, et cetera. This improved so much the behaviour of the riders, the young riders.”

I think that in every sport, in every motorsport also, the rules are really clear. ‘If you do this mistake, you get this penalty’. In MotoGP we are improving it, still sometimes it's not so predictable or objective. Sometimes you can have some room [for] interpretation, because it's also quite a difficult sport to understand from outside. But every year the stewards are doing a great job and improving. So, we can just be happy and satisfied about their job, because they are improving, they are growing and listening to our feedback.”

I just don't understand with the Marini hate among the MotoGP community. Sure he was the slowest rider on Ducati back then, and him having the factory seat over Zarco was undoubtedly questionable. But maaann. Not only is he trusted for bike developments, he would be really good at character education.

Marc Marquez has signed another 2-year contract with Ducati. Just a matter of time for Acosta being announced as his teammate.
