I am loving to buy physical copy's of stuff I like. Until 2012 I was mainly into vinyl but since then I prefer CD's as they take less space, the sound i good and they are easy to digitalise.

This topic is for your new purchases in 2026.

Here are my purchases so far.

I really got back into my CDs in 2025 having gone through an extended period of not buying any at all. So far this year I've only purchased Sub Focus' album Contact

I’ve been trying to fill the remaining gaps in my Bravo Hits collection this year, so have bought about 15 early and year end volumes of that series all for about £3 each.

Also Leona Lewis’ Echo vinyl and Mika’s new album on CD, Now Yearbook 91 Extra and The Vault ‘82. I do still buy a lot of music physically.

Will get Lily’s album at the weekend now it’s finally coming out.

I have also some Bravo hits but I am mainly collecting the NOW series from #65 onwards. The numbers before are not so relevant for me as I have all single-CD's anyway (at least from 89 to 2006 - maybe still some songs from 89 are missing, but I am on it). The only NOW I still don't have is #94. Most of these are very nice and cover most of the hits from the time periods. The only letdown is the censoring of explicit lyrics. I think BRAVO hits are not censored.

Yes. NOW used to sell a lot of copies to children and for family parties so I suppose they felt they had to censor it or it wouldn’t sell as well.

I like having the uncensored versions on Bravo (and Sweden’s Absolute Music series which wrapped up a few years ago).

Finally got round to buying some more off the back of an Amazon birthday voucher. I have the following CDs coming this week:

Lily Allen - West End Girl

Danny L Harle - Cerulean

Tame Impala - Deadbeat

NOW Eras 1988-1995
