On 7th-8th March of the 20th anniversary celebration of our site, we will be launching an campaign to get 'Whole Lotta History' into the Top 100 on iTunes.

The campaign starts on Saturday 7th March at time TBC.

Please feel free for everyone to discuss how you want to do this.

As I said in the other thread, it would be good to all collectively put it in our signatures for blanket promo. If we want a chance of it making the Big Top 40 then Saturday PM should be best time to download, no? I can’t remember if it’s still a 24/48-hour rolling chart or not.

I suggest March 6th, when charting period starts.. I was planning to launch SOTU streaming party becuase of How to Get To Heaven from Belfast series on Netflix, which that single is played.

7th March is the date that BuzzJack opened in 2006, so that's the reasoning behind the date chosen!

I don't think Friday would be the best day due to all the new releases climbing the iTunes chart, and it's likely one of the highest selling days of the iTunes week, so it would make it harder for Whole Lotta History to make a splash.

So noon on the Saturday, would be the best time to start it?

Hopefully this can gain traction, as i live in Ireland my contributions wont aid the campaign but best of luck with it.
