Three years after the release of the first animated Super Mario Bros Movie comes the sequel, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Released in cinemas worldwide on April 1st.

I'm really looking forward to this. I thought the first one was fantastic, sure it didn't have much of a story but as a life long Mario fan it was everything I wanted it to be.

This new movie is looking every bit as good. Very much looking forward to seeing it when it's out.

I reckon they’ll do a double bill screening of the first one then this like they did with Wicked

Really looking forward to this cant wait the first one was great should of been a little longer though

I haven’t seen that one, though I haven’t heard good things about it either.

It's awful none of the characters even have any resemblance to any of the Super Mario characters, if you want to check it out do but be prepared to be disappointed

And as for bringing it back to cinema, your probably more likely to win the lottery

Doesn’t matter whatever classic films they bring back, they’ll get packed. I watched Mulholland Drive when it got brought back a few weeks ago and it was absolutely packed. It wasn’t the type of film I expected to pack out a cinema. When Silence Of The Lambs got shown on Saturday, that was packed out and I expected it to be packed out

Considering is was such a massive box office bomb that the studio even likes to pretend it doesnt exist i highly doubt that to be true

Even Nintendo refused to license the character for another 30 years shows how strong they felt about it, just terrible

I found the first one to be extremely overrated (in terms of how much of a box office smash it was at least), and was disappointed not to enjoy it more as I've been a fan of the games for a couple of decades.

But I'm hopeful that the presence of Yoshi will mean this one is better (Yoshi and the many colour variations is always one of my top choices during Mario Kart)
