Marcella Detriot is doing a rare live PA at London's Trannyshack on March 8th. One of her songs will be Shakespears Sister classic Stay - with a drag queen playing Siobhan Fahey's role in the video - should be great :P

 

Also on the same night they have a guest DJ - ex SUGABABES star Siobhon Donaghy.....

The acoustic version of Stay but with Siobhan is awesome, I think it's more powerful than the original. I have her 2nd album, I liked her when she was all rocky. Kind of Alanis but mmm...high pitched.

'Stay' was the first single I ever bought! A pretty credible move I think... Marcella's solo career never ignited did it?

well she did have a hit with the rather great I Believe - then kind of disappeared.... a shame, really, as she has one of the best female pop voices ever I reckon.
