Got my Palladium tickets today as well. Met her at her HMV signing last weekend, what a lovely lady. Had a nice little chat to her as well which was good.

The album itself is really strong, I wasn't a fan of the title track when that came out but I appreciate it more in the context of the album as a whole. Overall favourites for me are "Who Dimmed The Lights", "Jesus On Mars", "Beautiful Love" and "Just Drive".

Also got a Palladium ticket! So hyped, this album is pure magic, every listen reveals a new detail or reference that I'd missed before. Her track-by-track interview with the OCC is such an enlightening read while listening!

#22 in the end, shame it missed out on top 20. It feels a bit unjust when Firebird went top 10.

Respectabble given that she is an independent artist.

This album surprised me. When I heard all the singles released before the album, I thought it would be a departure from her sound but I was pleasantly suprised that she kept it consistent while branching out into other style like electro and dance with a bit of disco.

Recommended tracks include Debbie, Castastrophe, Jesus On Mars, Just Drive, Breathe With the Fire Lola and Beautiful Love. In particular, Breathe With the Fire Lola is the standout for me. A track with EDM influence from Imbruglia is not on my bingo card in 2026.

Glad to see someone bring this up! Counting Down the Days clicked with me almost immediately back then too, but Algorithm was even more instant. It's easily secured a spot in my Top 3 Nat albums now 😬

Counting Down the Days and Firebird both have solid moments but tend to get samey as the album goes on being played.
