Geese performed a new song at a show last night! Hopefully it's out soon.

I can't tell if they're big enough or not to get a Top 100 single when they next release... I guess we'll find out soon:

Also, can’t we have a top 10 song? I know it’s very unlikely but I can live in hope!

I still feel the influence of Talking Heads in their willingness to experiment and unpredictability in music and lyrics, but at times they reminded me of the Stones or Led Zeppelin as they had a much heavier sound live and stretched some of the songs almost into jam sessions. We even got an impromptu ‘Fools Gold’ cover version! Maybe a sign of their future development?

And yes, going by the audience reaction/devotion last night I do think they’re going to be a massive chart success too! I haven’t seen anything like this since early Arctic Monkeys. Be very excited!

All in all a fantastic night from a wonderful and, I now believe, generational band!
