Misua, who was just cast on the fourth season of Drag Race Philippines, has passed away at the age of 27. It was confirmed by World of Wonder that Misua had passed away in her sleep in the morning of 2nd April 2026, just as filming had started. Unfortunately, this marks the first time a contestant has passed away during the filming of a Drag Race season. May she rest in peace.

It's alleged that Misua passed away as a result of SUNDS (sudden unexpected nocturnal death syndrome). It is a sudden and unexpected cardiac related death that occurs in one's sleep. It mainly affects young and healthy men in Southeast Asian countries like the Philippines.
