I have no idea tbh.

Didn't The Kooks have random EP in the midweeks one week, but by the time the actual chart was announced it had disappeared?

The Kooks EP was in the mids for the singles chart and not the album chart though.

Yeah I know. I thought I might have worded my origibal post wrong. :(

What I find wierd though is The Kooks EP didn't chart in either the singles chart or the album chart though. Or did it?

If it did chart in the album chart then it won't have sold very well because I don't remember anything being mentioned about it, chances are that it probably just wasn't included in either of the singles chart or the album chart though, OCC should be much more specific with their rules.

Yep the OCC should be more specific. ^_^ As I still think a lot of people are unclear on some of the new chart rules...

Maybe the OCC think no-one is bothered about EPs? I wish Arctic Monkeys EP had been eligible to chart as I think it was on this forum that I read it sold enough to be #1. :o

Yeah I wanted the Arctics Ep to chart as well.

I think it was Nicky that told me it had supposivley sold enough to get to #1. But O don't think the sales have ever been confirmed.

It's a shame as it would have been good to know if Arctic's really would've knocked Gnarls Barkley off #1.

Yes it would have  it sold more than I Bet You Look Good and When The Sun Goes Down apparently :o I was told it sold around 70K that week ^_^

If it counted then Gnarls would have probably got it back the next week

Gnarls Barkley would have more than likely climbed back to #1 the following week as Arctic Monkeys seem to be a very fanbase orientated band, I am still baffled as to why 'Leave Before The Lights Come On,' didn't make #1.

Blame The Egg and Chamillionare.

I liked 'Ridin',' by Chamillionaite but I found The Egg's song tedious rubbish.

Yeah I thought Ridin was alright but The Egg was just awful. :P
