Posted January 24, 200718 yr the Arctic Monkeys were excluded from the singles chart with their ep but babyshambkles charted in the album chart. so at what dealer price does a single ep become an album? how much is this ep that im listening to?
January 24, 200718 yr I didn't think it would matter about the price, maybe it's more to do with the amount of tracks on it?
January 24, 200718 yr I have no idea tbh. Didn't The Kooks have random EP in the midweeks one week, but by the time the actual chart was announced it had disappeared?
January 24, 200718 yr The Kooks EP was in the mids for the singles chart and not the album chart though.
January 24, 200718 yr The Kooks EP was in the mids for the singles chart and not the album chart though. Yeah I know. I thought I might have worded my origibal post wrong. :( What I find wierd though is The Kooks EP didn't chart in either the singles chart or the album chart though. Or did it?

Yep the OCC should be more specific. ^_^ As I still think a lot of people are unclear on some of the new chart rules...
January 24, 200718 yr Maybe the OCC think no-one is bothered about EPs? I wish Arctic Monkeys EP had been eligible to chart as I think it was on this forum that I read it sold enough to be #1. :o

January 28, 200718 yr Yes it would have  it sold more than I Bet You Look Good and When The Sun Goes Down apparently :o I was told it sold around 70K that week ^_^ If it counted then Gnarls would have probably got it back the next week
January 28, 200718 yr Gnarls Barkley would have more than likely climbed back to #1 the following week as Arctic Monkeys seem to be a very fanbase orientated band, I am still baffled as to why 'Leave Before The Lights Come On,' didn't make #1.

January 28, 200718 yr Blame The Egg and Chamillionare. I liked 'Ridin',' by Chamillionaite but I found The Egg's song tedious rubbish. Edited January 28, 200718 yr by TheOrdinaryArcticBoy
