Posted January 25, 200718 yr Right! Here we go! I got to Ronnie Scotts at 3.30 where I phoned Andrew who was lost! I gave him directions to the place even though he confused me to death "HOW THE HELL ARE YOU AT G-A-Y?" being one of the things that came out my mouth. We heard Lu soundchecking and realised we needed to formulate a plan to get Silverbum out. I told the guy on reception to tell Lucie or Mia that Daz and Andrew were outside. We waited... nothing. I went back in about 45 mins later and told the different person. Nothing. At 4.50 I got pissed off of waiting and went in AGAIN. This is where I saw Richard from Lucie's band. I called him over and told him the situation. Then one of Lucie's backing singers Laura went to tell Mia. A lady from Mercury came down and asked us "Did you enter the competition?". "Yes" we said. "Did you win?" "No". She then said she'd put our names on the guest list along with my friend Michael. As I was writing our names down, I heard a familiar voice as Lu approached from behind. We had a little chat where she said how she was looking at the guest list and knew nobody on it! After a minute she had to run back to her dressing room but said she'd hang out with us at the bar after the gig. Me and Andrew decided she deserved a gift so went out and bought her a bottle of Baileys! We were let in the gig and took up seats right by the front of the stage. Lucie came on at 6.30 and sung: Something About You Trying Not To Lose Breathe In The Same Side Place To Hide Sinking In Last Year The Longer We're Apart During the set she said "You're probably not drunk enough to sing along" before introducing 'Breathe in'. I said "We will" to which she said "You will" on stage! :P After the set, we waited for Lucie to come out. She did shouting "Hello trouble" at me, and calling me cheeky. I then presented her with the bottle of Baileys which she greeted with a loud and excitable WOOO!I then showed her my legendary sexyback picture which she loved and asked if she could keep. I introduced her to my friend Michael as "Michaelbitch" which led her to sign his CD "Biatch". Lucky b**ch! We talked about sexyback and how she loved shouting MOTHERF*CKERS during the song. I told her she couldn't meet my mum with that mouth, with Lucie promising to be nice if she ever met my mum! After a few minutes she told us not to go anywhere as she had to mingle. We waited until everyone was forced to leave, leaving just a few people inside - us included. I presented all the different versions of my album for Lucie to sign. "UK version" *signs* "Dutch version" *signs* "Promo"... Lucie was giving me a funny look at this point! After a while it was time for the Silvas to depart. She was as amazing as ever tonight.
