I think this is gearing up to be my next watch. The music is certainly boosting the show's profile. Has anyone seen it yet? It's already been renewed for a second season too.

I watched the first two episodes yesterday. Other than a few of the characters being (university) hockey players that's the only comparison to draw from it being in any way similar to Heated Rivalry.

The Off Campus books existed before the Heated Rivalry books, and it would've been in production before Heated Rivalry aired as a TV show! Agree that the only comparison point is hockey being a focal

Watched a few weeks ago and LOVED it! Slips into some typical romcom-style tropes but actually largely stands out because it rejects so many of the obvious plotlines and presents a relationship that's not remotely toxic despite the very deep back stories of the two leads in season 1. The supporting cast are fantastic too and I can't wait for them to get their chance to step up!

Is it not just a straight “heated rivals” rip off? I don’t have Amazon prime as I discontinued my Amazon account so haven’t been able to watch it, may seek it through other means if it’s worth it?

I watched the first two episodes yesterday. Other than a few of the characters being (university) hockey players that's the only comparison to draw from it being in any way similar to Heated Rivalry. There are romance stories intertwining but they're different too. I really enjoyed what I saw and will probably end up binging the rest of the season this week.

If they were gonna adapt a Elle Kennedy book I would rather they had adapted her gay ice hockey book Him which is a far better book but off campus is more popular so here we are. Couldn't get into the books so not bothering with the show.

She also wrote a gay ice hockey book too!? 😂

So Netflix have decided to aquire another mediocre hetero ice hockey romance book cuz thats what we wanted after success of Heated Rivalry clearly. And its another college one so gonna be most similiar to off campus and really what is the point, Netflix are such copy cats

I'd suggest it's the success of both Heated Rivalry and Off Campus that led to this commission from Netflix - they've obviously taken the wrong thing from both shows' success!
