Posted July 15Jul 15 Olivia's bomb forced me to take down recurrency rules a few weeks ago. But since there's a whole lot of new songs and varied set of artists this week, I'll instead keep the rules so I can send some old songs into recurrency. At the center of all of this, aside from Olivia still keeping strong and multiple corrections from previous charts being addressed, is a Canadian pop star (publicly praised by Spectrum Pulse on multiple occasions) with her best song yet returning to the top spot after having a World Hit feature on a recent episode of Billboard Breakdown.Recurrency Markers:- Below #30: >=5 weeks or a Top 10 peak- Below #20: >=7 weeks or a Top 5 peak - Below #15: either >=10 weeks AND a Top 10 peak, or >=7 weeks AND a Top 5 peak- Below #10: >=10 weeks AND #1 peakDropouts:This Side of Heaven by Elley DuheHurricane by Infinity SongLose Control by Teddy SwimsBad Dreams by Teddy SwimsCheckered Vans by McKenna GraceThe Door by Teddy SwimsBlueprint Supreme by SKAISYOURGOD and ARCity Leaver by McKenna GraceBittersweet 16 by McKenna GraceJ Christ by Lil Nas XOne Day by Bebe RexhaCollapsing Stars by McKenna Grace High Hopes 3000 by Role Model Too Little Too Late by Jordana BryantHouse Tour by Sabrina Carpenter Temporary Recurrents:What? by SB19 (7 Under 15)U + Me = <3 by Olivia Rodrigo (5 Under 30) So Easy by Olivia Dean (7 Under 20) honeybee by Olivia Rodrigo (5 Under 30) Satisfied by Renee Elise Goldsberry (7 Under 15)Not Your Man by Teddy Swims (5 Under 30) Chuck the Money by Stephen Sanchez (7 Under 15)She Got It by Teddy Swims, Coco Jones and Glorilla (5 Under 30)Rose Colored Boy by Paramore (7 Under 15) The Top 5050 ohh yeada juiced up pop punk emo swag by diamondsonmyd_ck and hi-c* (New, Peak 50, Weeks 1) 49 Skinny Dip by Almost Monday (New, Peak 49, Weeks 1) 48 Nothing but a Heartache by Bonnie Tyler (New, Peak 48, Weeks 1) 47 I'm With You by Avril Lavigne (Down 13, Peak 23, Weeks 4) 46 hands hands hands by horsegiirL (Down 13, Peak 22, Weeks 4) *intentionally replaced the "i" with a "_" to prevent Buzzjack violations45 Saturday Night by Ravyn Lenae (New, Peak 45, Weeks 1) 44 Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler (New, Peak 44, Weeks 1) 43 Noah by Emei (Down 6, Peak 35, Weeks 4) 42 Bloom by Emei (Down 6, Peak 36, Weeks 2) 41 Holding Out for a Hero by Adam Lambert (New, Peak 41, Weeks 1)40 Execution Clap by Trap Chick and Kasane Teto (Down 13, Peak 23, Weeks 3) 39 Dai Dai by Shakira and Burna Boy (Down 4, Peak 35, Weeks 3) 38 Junebug by Gayle (New, Peak 38, Weeks 1) 37 You're Still Mine by Lexi Jayde (New, Peak 37, Weeks 1) 36 If You Wanna Be Adored by Eva Rose (Down 5, Peak 25, Weeks 3) 35 purple by Olivia Rodrigo (Re, Peak 19, Weeks 4) 34 Virtuoso by Ryan Beatty (New, Peak 34, Weeks 1) 33 Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO and Lauren Bennett (Up 15, Peak 33, Weeks 2) 32 My Place by Josh Baker and Poppy Baskcomb (New, Peak 32, Weeks 1) 31 Candyland by Natanya (New, Peak 31, Weeks 1) 30 less by Olivia Rodrigo (Up 11, Peak 20, Weeks 5)29 Not Supposed to Fall in Love by Leanne and Naara (New, Peak 29, Weeks 1) 28 Days Like by Luna Bay (New, Peak 28, Weeks 1) 27 Gone Gone Gone by David Guetta, Teddy Swims, Tones and I (Re, Peak 26, Weeks 3) 26 Dream Crusher by Daniel Seavey (New, Peak 26, Weeks 1) 25 When a Good Man Cries by CMAT (Down 12, Peak 6, Weeks 6) 24 My Way by Olivia Rodrigo (Down 8, Peak 7, Weeks 5) 23 "23" by Noah Kahan* (Re, Peak 23, Weeks 2)22 A Bar Song Tipsy by Shaboozey (Down 12, Peak 10, Weeks 6) 21 Lie Alone by ALINA (New, Peak 21, Weeks 1) *only placed the quote marks to avoid number confusions. Indie artist Jolene Lozano gets a minor album bomb despite only 4 out of the dozen songs there wowing me, Olivia Rodrigo and ABBA dominate the charts, the Top 10 is flooded with a few of my birthday playlist songs at once, and several recurrent songs make their returns amidst scattered new releases.
