Chart Recap | Week 33

A spectacular entrance at the summit this week, as Sara Bareilles goes straight to #1 with Still Crying. Tears at the top of the chart - presumably the good kind.😇

Last week's champion паліндром slips just one place to #2 with Сенс, but the real drama arrives immediately below.

disiz rockets an extraordinary 24 places to #3 with rire de pleurer. Laughing, crying, and now very nearly winning - quite an emotional range for three weeks.

Stephen Wilson Jr. is almost as impressive, sending Gary up 16 places to #4. Gary needed no surname, no elaborate introduction and, apparently, very little time.

And almost monday climb another 7 places to #5 with delicate. For something delicate, it's handling the ascent remarkably well.

Former two-time chart-topper Rose Gray drops a bit down to #6 with Free, now spending a seventh week around the upper reaches.

At #7, Absolutely return with a brand-new entry, Elevator. Sensibly enough, it starts by going up.

Former #1 Zoé Clauzure slides to #8 with Frisson, while last week's highest debut Marracash & Elisa fall seven places to #9 with Neon – Le Ali. The wings are still attached; the altitude has simply changed.

wavvyboi completes the Top 10, climbing 6 places with wanderlust. Four weeks of wandering and he's finally found the right destination.

There are several more new arrivals further down.

Nothing But Thieves enter at #16 with Baby Kool (Evelyn), while Role Model debuts at #18 with This Song Is All You Get. A refreshingly clear statement of terms and conditions.

At #27, Mette arrives with Bet. A relatively cautious chart position for someone apparently willing to gamble.

Yes, Sara's fab!😍 I remember I crushed on her Love Song and Brave bops but since then haven't heard anything worthwhile from her.
