Chart Recap | Week 35

A dramatic change at the summit this week as Elle Coves rockets an extraordinary 22 places to #1 with All of America. This week, apparently, all of America has turned up.🤩

There is another major arrival right behind her: flowerovlove debuts directly at #2 with In My Victoria's Secret. Whatever the secret is, keeping a low profile clearly wasn't part of it.😊

Last week's champion Stephen Wilson Jr. slips to #3 with Gary. Four weeks in, Gary remains remarkably successful for a man we still know absolutely nothing about.

Niko Rubio holds another strong position at #4 with Mine, before Stromae makes the week's second Top 5 debut, bringing Ta Fête straight in at #5. A party invitation the chart was evidently happy to accept.

Camille Yembe continues upwards with Paradoxale, reaching a new peak of #6, while Absolutely take the Elevator four floors down to #7. Evidently, this one works in both directions.

Dagny also slips four places with Running Down A Hill at #8. For once, the title and the chart movement are finally in complete agreement.

Nothing But Thieves edge up to a new peak at #9 with Baby Kool (Evelyn), while former #1 Sara Bareilles rounds out the Top 10 with Still Crying. Three weeks later, the tears continue.

One of the week's biggest surprises comes from Hinds, who leap 17 places to #16 with Good Bad Times. Whatever sort of times these are, they're considerably better than last week's.

Before them, Carter Faith debuts at #15 with Cherry Valley, while Stephen Sanchez climbs 8 places to #18 with Forgetting Your Kiss. The kiss may be fading, but the chart position certainly isn't. Kacey Musgraves nudges Mexico Honey back up to #19, and Grace Carter arrives at #20 with Party Baby.

Ta Fete is an old stuff from Stromae but everytime I come across it, I feel like it should take a right place on my countdown. This time it was a live perfomance in Montreal Stromae - Multitude, le film (Full concert)
