Posted January 27, 200718 yr In the early 70’s they were one of the few bands to successfully straddle the widening gulf between the UK rock underground (prog-rock) and glam rock. Their first big hit was Bowie’s “All the young dudesâ€, but other songs included All the way to Memphis and Roll away the stone. They sort of ran out of steam by late 1974.
