Relieved to see sales at the top approaching respectable levels. The music industry has woken up finally with all this movement. Great album sales for Fontaines too!

What was the last Welsh featuring No.1 overall? Louder which had Sian Evans on vocals, and before that Barry Islands In The Stream? Or have I forgotten something more recent? It is nice to see another Welsh act at the top, and Babydoll is fun, it's nice to see a lot of fresh pop songs doing well in the top four, and bringing sales back out of the gutter.

It's Chico Time! was the most recent #1 track by a Welsh solo artist (pre-Babydoll)

Moving 84-67-46-24-8-6-3-2-1, Babydoll reaches No.1 after climbing the Top 75 for seven weeks in a row (the Top 100 for eight weeks in a row), becoming the first song to have such a sustained rise without pausing or falling along the way since 2019/2020, when Tones And I’s debut hit Dance Monkey rose 82-60-48-40-31-19-14-7-1.
