I loved the first album, was a huge fan. Infact, I'm named after them on ALL other forums (Maximo_Mark) but this reminded me of Limassol (the only track off ACT I don't like)

I though their first album was brilliant but well this lead single just sounds messy and really forgetful. Maybe it shall grow though.

Obvs it's too early to judge this one but still ...

I hope there's better on the album. Well, I expect there to be. So many bands have recently released what's probably the worst song on the album as a lead single, and not just Indie either (Razorlight, Magic Numbers, Kelis, Gwen Stefani to name but a FEW)

I was awaiting this one and I've not heard it yet but from the sounds of opinions it's not very good, either way I shall reserve judgement until I've heard it.

I seem to be the in the minority on opinions on comebacks today :lol: I like this one a lot but maybe not as much as their last stuff. ^_^

I actually also think that it's a good song after eventually hearing, definitley seems like a grower to me but it seems to equal the quality of some of their previous stuff imo. :D

I've listened about 10 times now and it's still appaling. Shan't be buying the album...

This song has grown on me a lot, although I already thought it was good I think it's brilliant now and hopefully there will be many other bands this year who will return with songs with the same quality of 'Our Velocity.'

I saw it on saturday - quite liked it. It sounds like a Carter USM song circa 1995 and definitely beats some of their previous singles.

 

But yeah, they are, and always have been, a poor man's Futureheads.

It's unoriginal. They should've progressed onwards since 'Employment'. They haven't. Consequently making it sh*t.
