Oddly, i've never been a big fan of Maximo Park previously and I wasn't impressed by A Certain Trigger, bar Going Missing and Apply Some Pressure

It's OK but yeah I agree with everyone who says it sounds like Limassol. Not much a progression from the first album - which had a lot of promise and some fine tracks.

 

Also I don't like the synth on it.

I saw it on saturday - quite liked it. It sounds like a Carter USM song circa 1995 and definitely beats some of their previous singles.

I've never really got them before but i must say i fink this song is bloody brilliant! I think it's a bit more mainstream than their last album which i spose means they've become a bit less distinguishable but I'm all for conformity :P
