I think Ronaldo will do good at Milan, but as its already been said in here if Ronaldo were to come to the Premiership I think he's just be AWFUL. He's not a Premiership style player at all and he'd just flop on his arse and chances are his career would be remembered for his awful stint in England.

Yeah would be Mario Jardel all over again. Jardel scored for fun in Spain and Italy then piled on the pounds and Bolton signed him and he had his contract cancelled after a few games because he was so fat and slow and I think Ronaldo would be the same tbh

He'd get more for you than Defoe, imo. Parts of this seasons he has shown how class he is. Given the chance, under the right manager. Like Mido was a right t*** at every club he's ever been at, but stuck it out at Spurs. Under Jol Ronaldo could be reborn. But in Milan he will regain his best years again, imo.

Disagree, the premiership is unlike any other league, Ronaldo would humilliate himself in the premiership and it would be sad to see as he is one of the greatest strikers I have ever seen

Ronaldo would be made to look like an eight year old kid in the Premiership. He's a very good player but he doesn't have that physical edge to him that would make him a Premiership player. He's such more suites to the Serie A.

I do think he'd perform a little bit better than Jardel though. But I don't think he's perfrom that much better.

Can't compare Jardel to Ronaldo!! :o :P like American's comparing Beckham's flop [he will flop, it's obvious] to George Bests, or even Stoitchovs (sp?)

People said he was over then! and people still say it now. But he can still produce moments like this, i believe

hmmmmm

For Porto he scored 125 goals in 130 games :o

For Galatasary he scored 24 goals in 22 games

For Sporting Lisbon he scored 49 goals in 53 games

So in 205 games in those clubs he scored 198 goals (source Wikipedia) which is a VERY impressive feat

Portuguese league i don't rate. But if we take this into account. Why is Shevchenko only scoring vs lower league teams? :P cos the prem is too hard, not cos a player's finished

lol Premiership is not too hard, bar Man Utd's flukey win and Liverpool's win against Milan you have to go back to the late 70's for any British European Cup/CL success, and the less said about the national team the better lol

Shevchenko is struggling because of the pace of the premiership not the quality ;)

Late 70s? English clubs won it in 7 of the 8 seasons from 1977-1984. in 1985 Liverpool made the final. We only stopped dominating due to being banned for 5 years!

Appiah would be a good buy for Man Utd. He'd add more stability in the midfield.

Has everyone been reading all of the rumours on the bbc sport site? Some of them are shockers, i'd be amazed if some of them are true :P
