u r great :D

how many points between the #1 & #2 :???: ?

The old songsbeing in there are more impressive as charts were smaller back then...

And they also had to sell a helluva lot more records to get to #1

I agree. It is a timeless classic known by generations of people

It was originally released in 1956, hard to imagine that the song is over 50 years old

Wish I did this chart earlier. I prob would have done better in the Buzzcharts where you vote for particullar posters you like lol

And they also had to sell a helluva lot more records to get to #1

Although Heartbreak Hotel did not sell enough to make the Top100.

PS. Five The Beatles singles in the Top40 UK selling singles of all-time, all ahead of Elvis' best selling single (It's Now Or Never).

Surely Angels is on a million now if dowloads were included? It was on like 860k in 1999 and would've continued selling well over the past 8 years, especially as it sold 32k in 2006 alone.

Downloads only started in the last couple of years though, maybe he'll be close to a million sales now?

Great end to the chart Danny, I had to leave for a while so missed the end, bless my soul, it's an Elvis blitz! :yahoo:

How did Shakira not win?! :o Heartbreak Hotel's chart run wasn't nearly as impressive as Shakira's!

I'm shocked there are people who don't think Elvis is deserving of the number one!! At least in favour of Shakira :-S

I mean OK she's talented and the songs been successful but lets not go nuts!

9. 1.84m 1995 1 Unchained Melody Robson Green & Jerome Flynn

10. 1.79m 1978 1 Mary's Boy Child – Oh My Lord Boney M

11. 1.789m 2002 1 Anything Is Possible/Evergreen Will Young

12. 1.783m 1994 1 Love Is All Around Wet Wet Wet

So Will Young would only have to sell a thousand downloads to be one of the top ten singles of all time?? Possible?

Not finished yet lol. Im gonna do 1 last countdown of the overall biggest act Yes we know the biggest Buzzjack song but soon we will know who the biggest act is. Should have this on Friday

Hmmm I wonder!.....

we already know who will be #1

Balances it out though really because most music markets are saturated these days and there's a higher turnover of hits
