You should get the dvd. His concert at the RAH is shockinly brilliant. Everything about it was amazing. Even Frank Sinatra's wife said Rob was one of the very few who pulled it off fantastically out of all those who have attempted in the past, ^_^

I absolutely adore ' Swing When Youre Winnin ' - sometimes you just get tired of the usual POP/ROCK stuff & this album is great if you want to clear your head. I know for sure that whatever Swing album Robbie does it will be great, he is very,very good at swing - a real natural . I am hoping that if they go ahead with it that at least they come up with something special to promote it.

I personnally love a live Orchestra - nothing like it especially with Rob as he is so natural with that type of music & he dosen't try to copy anyone else, he is just himself, really great.

I must say that I'm not happy for another Swing album, just because I don't like that much Swing When You're Winning, and I'm not into that music.

 

But, on the other side, I like Swing live (read Live AH :wub: :lol: :lol: :lol: ), so if there would be concert like that after release of new Swing album, then it's ok.

 

I agree with few people in here that it would be better to release it on Christmas time.

 

Still, I wanted new pop/rock album, but ok... :(

After being a bit skeptical at first, after watching those performances again it just reminded me how brilliant he is at it...he is a complete natural when it comes to this stuff. Even though I don't listen to the album too often I really enjoy it when I do and I look forward to hearing that voice again :wub:. With the right tracklist and if he combines the release with a mini tour....well you can't get more perfect than that :heart:. As long as he flippin well promotes it and beats people into submission :arrr: . Someone really needs to knock that lazy streak out of him :rolleyes: .

I just adored the way he sang ' May Way ' , how caught up in the whole thing did he get with that song & you knew the feeling came from his heart. He definately wears his heart on his sleeve - what a great artist he is, so very versatile.

 

He could always call the album ROBBIE - The Biggest Swinger in Town ' :heart: :heart:

 

I've not been around here for a while - but coming on tonight and reading this thread has really cheered me up. Loving the album titles :rofl:

I just love Robbie doing Swing, especially watching him perform it, he is such a natural at it, I really do hope he does something more than just put it out, because with anything Robbie he just has to be watched.
