Nah, Wemley would'nt suit it at all imo. Swing is perfectly suited to an intimate venue like the RAH. In a stadium his voice would'nt sound as good as it would in an indoor arena. Swing is all about his voice. :D

I would LOVE a mini tour. He could do a couple of shows in the UK and Ireland (preferably in the Point Depot, however he would have to put it on for free  )

Scotty - What a great idea - do you think we should write to IE Music Management fro the tickets - The Point would suit me just fine.

Joking aside - Swing requires an intimate setting ( like my front room - Ahem ) . I personally dont like huge Stadiums & while I enjoyed Croke Park last June I felt Robbie seemed somewhat remote due to the size of the stadium - especially the fact that I happened to be in the Stand - I think it was better in the pitch itself.,

A mini tour would be great but you never know with Robbie - he just does his own thing so we will have to wait & see.

Yip, I was near the back in Croker and he was like a little dot,. :( The Atmophere made up for it though, but it was NOTHING compared to the previous 4 times I'd seen him live. Mainly cause I could'nt see him and even the screen's were mainly playing his vids

I saw him in the Point back in the 90's and It was AMAZING   A Swing gig was just be perfect for there. Although, he really couldnt get away with charging for tickets after his promise to put on a free gig.

Oh and of course a new track. I would love that. He could write it with Guy. I don't think anyone he has worked with lately would be any good at helping write a Swing song. I will talk hollywood with listen was great :D
Oh I don't know. I'm sure the 'Never Touch That Switch' guys could russle up a killer of a Swing Song. With 15 re-mixes of course.

I know ^_^

I thought you said your dad was a huge fan? Does he not have the album for you to borrow?

You should get the dvd. His concert at the RAH is shockinly brilliant. Everything about it was amazing. Even Frank Sinatra's wife said Rob was one of the very few who pulled it off fantastically out of all those who have attempted in the past, ^_^

Here are some vids off youtube -_-

Mr Bojangles

Beyond the sea

Oh and here is Ain't that a kick in the head off cduk. never seen it before myself

I just think Swing Robbie and Rock Robbie are totally different people. Their voices are totally different too. It's quite amazing actually. :o
