Well it will certainlly be interesting to hear her take on country music... to be honest I cant imagine it being THAT country, more of just a ballad that you'd hear someone singing in a bar, not like a proper modern day country track, if anyone gets me that is is! Either way should be an interesting to hear.

According to Rashmine, a music journalist and a huge fan of Mariah, Tennessee will be premiered at a film festival this September.

 

If the info she has been given is true, Tennessee will probably premiere in Toronto International Film Festival as the festival starts in September 7 and ends on 16 September, 2007.

 

Other film festivals held in September that Tennessee could also premiere are:

 

- Northern New Mexico Film Festival which will be held in Las Vegas, New Mexico on September 28th to 30th, 2007. The films shown will be a diverse selection from around the world. The festival will have a special focus on films from New Mexico.

 

- The 45th New York Film Festival (September 28 – October 14, 2007)

 

- New York International Film & Video festival - one of their events is held in Los Angeles on September.

V V S Films, the canadian distributer of Tennessee confirmed the following today:

 

" The film is scheduled to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival this fall; theatrical date is still to be determined. "

Well that up there is official so it should be. :P Yeah I want some new songs and I want them BADLY. :arrr: I have seen a picture from the set somewhere and Mariah looks DREADFUL though. :(

i hope she really does some songs for the movie (soundtrack ??) and i want this movie to get good reviews..

so GLITTER did gross ~5.000.000 $ in the US hopefully this movie will do more and hopefully it reaches theatres not like wisegirls..
