Posted April 11, 200619 yr Wigan coach Ian Millward has been sacked with immediate effect following the club's dismal start to the season. The Warriors are bottom of the Super League table after winning just one of their first eight league games. Assistant coaches Stuart Wilkinson and Andrew Farrar will take charge of team affairs on a temporary basis. Australian Millward only took over at the JJB Stadium on a three-year contract last May after being sacked by St Helens for gross midsconduct. From BBC Sport.
April 11, 200619 yr He's defintley got something on his mind as he was a good coach, and you don't become a bad coach over night but i expect he'll go back to Australlia after this sacking.

Yeah, even going back to his Saints days he seemed to be acting out of character. The swearing incident which lead to his eventual sacking wasn't very un-Millward-like.
