I've gone off Top Of The Pops a lot. I remember the makeover they did back in December 2003 and I haven't watched any since. The new format was what put me off.

You don't realise how many hits someone has had until they are listed - I'd thought she'd only appeared on a few TOTP's until I checked..............

She has mimed on the last few though - the earlier ones have live vocals (when everyone who was on TOTP had to sing live or else...........)

 

I've got copies of 1,300 shows - so can safely claim to be a true TOTP expert................

Yeah I had been waiting for so long for Mariah to perform We Belong Together on TOTP and then she mimed :(

"Emotions" was a good performance, not quite at the same pitch as the record, but not bad...........

 

If I do a DVD I'll do 2 copies, can't say fairer than that.................. :)

Yeah Emotions never sounds the same live as the studio version does ;)

I remember watching her mime on WBT, that was such a shame too... I was really excited about seeing the return of the voice "live" on a great track!

But we got Mariah live at The Grammys and at the MTV Movie Awards. The EMA Awards, and loads of others, so she can be forgiven for TOTP :P

I remember these. Kely Price was one of the fat women singing back-up in the Black & White 'Christmas' performance they used to show.
