It has sold around 3m by now I'd imagine Tessa ^_^ It was on 2.8m at least at the end of 2006. :) He made it into the list of 2006 best selling albums worldwide at #18 and if you took the US sales off the rest of the album, he'd probebly be top 5. B)

 

It is sickening that the Mirror CONTINUE to slag him off at this stage. How dare they tell him to , grow up and get a grip. Who the f*** do they think they are. :puke2:

 

 

I feel he has really been let down by his management - do you think its a case of they cant see the wood for the trees & have their heads buried so far up their bottoms that they missed what was going on with the Press. How could they ignore it, did they think it would just go away.

I hope this is not true, because thats what they are speculating

killed Anna Nicole, and know killed her son! If it was true, he would

be so fuzzed out all the time and wouldnt know if he were coming or

going but robbie always seems pretty clear headed to me!

Anyway whatever, he's doing something about it!

Supreme - You are probably right . Jonny & Max would never leave Rob on his own , they love & respect him too much. I mean Jonny & his family were with Rob during all of his World Tour so they wouldnt leave him when he needed them most. They love him as their own family so I think The Mirror must have made that story up to make it look that Rob was as miserable as possible.

Im sure he will be fine - we will just have to ignore the papers ....after a couple of weeks they will run out of steam.

Everyday I try to learn a new one of robbies songs, that i dont know

well yet....like today 'Berliner Star', and everytime i really listen, i think

to myself, the guy is fantastic, his lyrics are always superb, on stage

I always think that the ppl from Canada and the States wouldnt know

talent if you shoved it down their throats....I wont mention some of

the artists i cant stand, cause i know it would offend some ppl but

it just leaves me baffled........I put that sexy pic of robbie in my

non-robbie forum the other day, and one new girl says, 'wow, I know

who robbie is, but i never knew he was that hot! '

And I said...'robbie being hot is just a bonus...watch him on stage',

and i gave her the link to the beginning of knebworth....Now shes

totally into him and wants to see more....they just dont know what

Yeah Surpreme - I know where you are coming from there. I have introduced Rob to loads of my friends by way of CD's, videos, etc & they really love him now.

He is a talented lyricist & I have read in an unofficial biography that Guy Chambers realised fully the talent that Rob had for melody, lyrics , presentation & expression. Guy know that he himself had the music but it was no good on its own, without good lyrics it meant nothing & Guy himself did not have the charisma to do it himself as no one would give him a second glance. Guy & Rob were always a partnership but Guy would always find it more difficult without Rob & that point has been proven.I am not criticising Guy but he does not have the lyrical talent to do it alone.. .A good tune needs good lyrics to tell the story & celebrate the music.

Deep down every artist out there in the music industry knows that RW is the best at what he does but they dont want to be seeing saying that as it may appear uncool . We know Robbie is the best ,. Rob knows that we know he is the best & that is all that counts . I truly hope he is well again soon & hopefully we may see hime late Summer time.

ROBBIE'S ON THE MEND

 

Robbie Williams is settling in well to his programme of rehab in America, according to his sister.

 

 

The star is responding to the early stages of treatment for dependency on prescription drugs and is said to be feeling "positive" about his prospects for a full recovery.

 

 

His sister Sally Williams said: "From what I understand he has settled in well and he's looking forward to getting himself sorted out.

 

 

"He's meeting the challenge and he's prepared to do that. Booking into rehab is the best thing he could have done - without it he wouldn't have been here much longer."

 

 

Sally believes the weight of pressure put on her brother from the record industry as well as the media, and the stresses brought by his own fame, have taken their toll on the singer, who now lives in Los Angeles.

 

 

"He is quite a happy person, but he's not been happy for a long time," she said.

 

 

"I've known about this situation for a while. The music industry is very pressurised. You can't fight a big institution, you have to allow him to find his own way.

 

 

"Robert has said to me he's never been bothered about cracking America, even though there is a myth that he does.

 

 

"America is the only place where he can live a normal life, where he can shop or go out for dinner.

 

 

"But even there, if he meets someone, it's difficult to know if they like him for who he is, or for what he is."

 

 

Speaking about her brother's troubles, Sally said: "He's known to have been on anti-depressants for some time. But in Los Angeles you can ask any doctor for any type of medication and if you can pay for it, you can get it - uppers, downers, slimming tablets, you name it. I think that's going to become more of a problem, especially in LA."

 

 

Robbie's mum Jan has thanked Sentinel readers who have sent in messages of support to the star.

 

 

She said: "Perhaps when all this is over I can take out copies of the messages to him.

 

 

"When you go through something like this the more support you can get the better."

 

 

Part of the singer's therapy means he is not allowed a mobile phone or a laptop to access the internet at present, but his family said the messages will reach him.

 

 

Sally added: "Regarding the emails and positive thoughts, when he's able to make contact with the outside world again, they will be fantastic for him to help him carry on."

 

 

Robbie fan Sylvia Wordley, of Stanley, who has met the star, said: "Robbie came across as being so normal, he was wonderful.

 

 

"I'm a great supporter of his and I hope he gets through it, he can count on the support of people in the Potteries."

Same can't be said for the 3AM bitches from the Mirror (I feel like I'm saying this daily for weeks now :rolleyes: ), they have a bull$h!t story about Rob's friends desperatly trying to get Guy Chambers to call Rob. They even go as far as saying, he penned Rob's most famous hits (he wrote parts of the music only ffs -_- ). Apperently though, Guy has said himself the story is completelly untrue.

 

Is'nt it just typicle of those 3am bitches. Every last word they print is either a complete lie or facts twisted around to make it as negetive as possible :angry:

Robbie's Management should start suing the Mirror each and every time something false is published. In fact, sue the 3am dames personally. Every time. Hit them where it hurts. In the pocket. -_-
