Yep. It really is beggers believe that a man who basically makes a living out of seeking attention by constantly slagging off more succesful people than himself could call ANYONE a drama queen. But he clearly has never been very educated so no suprise really. (and that is coming from a big Oasis fan, it's just a shame they can't just stick to the music) <_<

I threw my 3 Oasis albums in the dustbin tonight. I feel so much better now. ^_^

Pete Tong is on BBC Radi 1 at the moment - he has just said that he will be playing a remix of one of Robbies tracks - Pet said that Robbie is out of favour this week but that he is sticking by him ... Pete is always nice about Robbie - well done Pete......

Supreme - Pete Tong is a top DJ on BBC Radio 1 who does a lot of dance tracks & in fairness to the DJ's (especially the evening & noght programmes ) they have played a lot of the remixes from Rob's album Rudebox. The Soulwax version of Lovelight was fantastic & has been played loads of times.

 

A lot of people love Rob - he just needs to get well - . Give it a few weeks & the papers will have run out of things to say about it & then some other poor sod will be given a hard time.

Pete did not mean he was out of favour with him - but face it - he is certainly out of favour with the press - they are writing S**T about him everyday so Pete has a good point. Pete did say that he was out of favour this week but not out of favour on his show & he has always been supportive of Rob & has played Rob's music on his show more times that any other DJ - so Pete is a real good guy.

You have good reason to be worried - Rob's PR team The famous Taylor Herring are nowhere to be seen - what does he actually pay them for......he is being treated like S**T by the journalists in his own Country & his own PR team remains silent & have done so for months. I cannot believe that people stand by & let it happen & I blame his management as well & I have written to them about same., so get writing ... Ok :angry:

All Robbie has done in the past is retaliate to what Liam/Noel have said to offend him. He is an adult and has grown up a long time ago and doesnt have to insult people to gain attention. Why would anyone at their age bother is beyond me?

 

The worst thing Rob has said in the past, is slag off one of their albums, hardly the same as making idiotic comments saying Robs only looking for attention by going to rehab. Trust Liam to make such an insanly ignornat comment, even by his standards. Robbie is clearly not looking for attention and if he wanted publicty their are tones of ways of getting it, starting which actually promoting his album/single which he has'nt so it is just a very silly thing to say. He has a mental illness and has an addictive personality and has gone to seek help., yet gets slagged off and told he is looking for attention by people who make carear out of doing so. It's just beggers belief.

 

I have always found the whole Rob v Oasis thing very amusing in the past like yourself, but this is very different. None of us know what state Robbie was in, or how low he was. It must've been very bad for him to go into a 35 day course in rehab. His own sisters feared he would'nt still be alive if he had'nt have gone in there so to here Liam make such ignorant remarks is completelly uncalled for, but expected from him tbh. And then for Noel to say, 'he's soft' or whatever comment he made. You'd think they were a bunch of uneducated kids or something.

 

And I have no intention of throwing their cd's out cause they are one of my favourite bands, but slagging off in an entertaining way is one thing, but accusing someone who is clearly seriously ill is not acceptable IMO.

Sad indeed and especially for Noel, who is touching 40. You'd think he would'nt give the press what they want all the time and not be so predictable. As for Liam, well there is no hope really.

 

I think the last time was around the time of Knebworth 4 years ago, when Rob sent Noel a letter asking him to support him or something. That is amusing and a joke. There is a difference.

Exactly, Rob hasn't said anything about Oasis in a very long time. He's remained the bigger person and not stooped down to their level yet they can't seem to let it go. They only do it for publicity those arrogant gits. Its only when they've got something to sell is when they start slagging Rob off and it pays off, the cover of the Sun so as long as the papers print what they say they'll continue saying it. I'd hoped though that Liam has grown up a bit and it was only Noel who's missing a brain but seems like Liam's lost his as well .. that is if he ever had one :rolleyes:
