Posted February 14, 200719 yr Chasing Cars back in top ten? Source: Music Week Snow Patrol could be on the verge of re-entering the singles top ten this Sunday as Chasing Cars (Fiction) continues its download-powered climb back up the charts. Early retail reports suggest that Chasing Cars is close to re-entering the top ten, some six months after its chart debut. The single currently sits at number 23 in the charts, having climbed steadily on download sales since chart rules changed on January 1 to allow all downloads into the charts, irrespective of a physical product. In addition, the group’s latest single, Open Your Eyes, looks set to climb back into the singles top thirty this week. Meanwhile Mika looks likely to claim a fifth week at the top of the singles chart with Grace Kelly (Island), despite a strong challenge from Akon feat. Snoop Doggy Dogg’s I Wanna Love You (Universal), which should claim a top three place. Reports suggest that there will only be one new entry into the singles top forty this week – Towers Of London’s I’m A Rat (TVT), which looks on course for a placing in the lower end of the top thirty. ================================================================= Singles 01 Mika - Grace Kelly 14k 02 Kaiser Chiefs - Ruby 8.5k 03 Akon feat Snoop Dogg - I Wanna Love You 6.5k Top 15 Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars Take That - Shine Kelis feat. February 16, 200719 yr Author What you see is what you get, don't ask where TT, Kelis and Nelly is, I'm assuming anywhere between Nos 12, 14 or 15 In a way the top 11, is the same as yesterday, a very static week, I'm really expecting big changes by Sunday, Top 10 could look completely different. Chasing Cars could climb or fall.
February 16, 200719 yr Chasing cars will probably fall cos Saturday is the big day for physical sales which will not benefit Chasing Cars as that is now only available on download

February 16, 200719 yr Let's hope that by Sunday "Open Your Eyes" manage to have a top 20, and "Chasing Cars" stays out of the top 10 :P A bit dissapointed by Feeling too, but Rosé is not my cup of tea, even if I kinda like the band  xox.
