I have no idea why they changed it. :wacko: Guess they just fancied a change, still it looks pretty good. :D ^_^

I'm glad that they've decided to change their logo with their new album being a brand new project, it's definitley a much more creative logo imo. :D

I can but it was a fairly simple logo. :)

I liked the old one a lot... this new one's not a design triumph, though.....

 

I think it's important for a band to use the same logo throughout...it creates a sense of identity and recognisability.... Oasis have kept the same design, all bar a few tweaks, throughout their career - and it's become their 'brand'... which all bands need.

Well tbh I prefer the old one comparing the two, it has a more edgy look to it, compared to the new one which just looks a little too plain. :lol:

I haven't seen the original artwork for Raoul, only the new version. :(

I remember on an old messageboard I used to frequent, I used to have about 50 different coloured Arctic Monkeys logos that I use to use as my avatars :lol:

Of course! ^_^ But it's always nice to have a pretty art on their album covers and stuff. Nevertheless, I'd rather have a $h!t cover or logo but amazing music any day!!!

Well all it was just a brown cover with the words Arctic Monkeys - Leave Before The Lights Come On on it so it can't get any worse :lol:

The old logo probably does look much more professional as it was much more simple but the new one is still quite good imo and will probably look a lot more creative when it's actually on the CD cover.
