April 13, 200619 yr Animals of Farthing Wood was very well made. Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds anyone? dont know the first one, but we got the second one on a dvd from the sun. very bad animation and badly dubbed, probably spanish or italian originally :puke2:
April 13, 200619 yr Yep, spanish originally. The animation may have been a little dodgy and the music awful, but the way it was drawn had a certain charm and the dialogue is reasonably good.
April 14, 200619 yr Yep, spanish originally. The animation may have been a little dodgy and the music awful, but the way it was drawn had a certain charm and the dialogue is reasonably good. i've only seen the one episode that was on the free dvd. think that was a full length show film. was anyone here into Pokémon or Digimon? (either gaming or the cartoons). Still got a Squirtle on top of my tv
April 15, 200619 yr Me and my bro had all the farthing wood videos he loved them i used to get annoyed when they were put on but i'd still watch it. :D and i know it's not a cartoon but did anyone use to watch 'play days' or 'play bus' (cant remember what it's called) where they had the rag doll, parrot and cat, and some shows they'd go on 'Rosie, the magical, musical, merry-go-round!' Edited April 15, 200619 yr by Mrs Armstrong
April 16, 200619 yr I remember loads of them. Postman Pat, Farthing Wood, Fireman Sam, Land Before Time. Oh, and Farthing Wood is the BEST cartoon bar none  How do I remember these, I'm hardly Kelly's age

April 17, 200619 yr Powerpuff girls me and my two friends in the infants used to pretend to be them, i was the ginger one <_< btw im not ginger. lol
April 19, 200619 yr and i know it's not a cartoon but did anyone use to watch 'play days' or 'play bus' (cant remember what it's called) where they had the rag doll, parrot and cat, and some shows they'd go on 'Rosie, the magical, musical, merry-go-round!' Mmm...not that I should know this. You're referring to Playdays which followed the original Playbus, which itself replaced the far superior Playschool. The "parrot" was called the Why bird and it used to ask Siiiimaan stupid questions in a welsh accent. The rag doll was Peggy Patch, a rubbish mute doll which would turn up in places in the countryside...probably because it had been washed up there when it's previous owner threw it down the toilet. They later teamed up with the cat (no idea what it was called). The merry go round was operated by Mr Jolly, a bearded bloke who probably hated kids but DID own a bowler hat. Other than that you also had Dave Benson Phillips getting down with Lizzie the unfeasibly jointed marionette and the tent stop (?) with Humphrey(?) the weird cardboard frenchman and a wobbly clown with mixed emotions.
April 19, 200619 yr oo yes  cartoons that were out when we were little are in a different league to what is out now <_< however in the adult animation market http://www.axelmusic.com/resources/covers/0/024543233619.jpg
