Ok. I'm looking for your opinion.

As you know, there are numerous really vicious articles being printed in the UK press about Robbie at the moment.

On Buzzjack we've always been of the opinion that we should post everything, good or bad, and let you make your own mind up.

But is enough enough this time? It's your Forum. Tell me what you want. I'll go with the majority.

In the meantime I've moved the current thread into the Robbie News Forum.

I've set up a poll. It will close midnight on Sunday UK time. -_-

Have voted to post only the positive articles.

I don't see a reason to post negative reports because most of the time they are untrue articles and just horrible attacks on Robbie. It fuels what the press are looking for and leads to Robbie fans getting even more upset :(

Also why leave an opportunity for some visitors to make nasty comments on our forum that they do not know all the facts to.

If it turns out that everyone wants nasty news to be posted, how about having a locked news thread that only Mods can update.

I voted for good and bad, yes the bad ones upset people but I don't want to avoid the bad stuff
I'm not sure what I want...
Im' not bothered either way really - . In order to save myself an huge headache I usually skim over the bad bits & then they dont sink into my head as it's only S**T talk anyway... I prefer to be optomistic & I am looking forward to Rob getting better ..... I have been looking at some of his interviews on Y.Tube & they are hilarious - no point getting too depressed over what The Mirror etc are writing - they will run out of things to say in a week or so................

The truth no matter if it's good or bad ^_^

I mean I'm not sure what you mean by bad stories

But you all know how much I hate the pap pics and stories that affect his privacy I banned them from my own forums and Im not happy reading them anywhere else....they make me very sad

I'd say post both good and bad, perhaps in seperate thread so people that don't want to read it have a choice.

There is no way of not discussing it at all cause that would make no sence as that is what the forum is for, to discuss Robbie, and now especially.

I am not sure what to pick either. For instance if there is a bad review of an album I think it should be posted as everyone is entitled to an opinion and if they are based on fact and well written they should be posted.

Its the garbage lies and viscious personal attacks on him that should not be posted..ie..The Mirror rubbish...as there are barely any facts involved and their sole aim is to bring him down. I feel by posting this sort of stuff we are actually aiding them in their cause.

ABANDON THE MIRROR AND ANYTHING VISCIOUS BASED ON LIES...WE ARE ONLY HELPING THEM SPREAD THE WORD :arrr: .

I voted for positive.

By doing that I am not saying you cannot post a slightly negative one, lets just say 'lets be selective' about an article.

Posting up the negative or the nasty, vindictive articles is exactly what the gutter press want you to do and by doing that we are advertising the paper and we are ourselves circulating, in a lot of cases untrue articles.

By posting these articles we are also helping compound what the tabloids are trying to do to Robbie, which is trying to destroy him, whether that is professionally or personally. Robbie' sister Sally has already said that Robbie is where he is because of all the negative press and I really don't think fan sites should be party to that.

The red top tabloids are read by millions in the UK, what we are doing by posting them on here or any of his forums is spreading their muck all around the world, which is read by millions of fans from Europe, South America and Australia. Do we want to help the tabloids do that?

There have been two articles this week that have been disputed and were found to be "unfounded and untrue" and the agents of the said 'victims' have had to make statements. Those stories in the Mirror went to a circulation of millions in the UK, lets not join them in spreading those lies around.

and lets just say, if anyone is undecided, that Robbie reads fans sites.

Well Suse - I used to always buy The Mirror but I have not done so for months / I stopped a couple of months ago when they started writing awful things about Rob.... They are entitled to their opinion but not entitled to do what they have been doing to him for ages.. I will never buy that paper again & loads of people I know have stopped buying it as well.....

I also sent an email to the Editor of The Sentinel about the impression that the English press were giving to people outside of the UK... I hope he or she will pass the messages on to other newspapers.

T.God I live here in Ireland ... at least our papers here are not that bad.

I voted for positive.

Yes, well said. I agree. The really negetive articles that are clearly bull$h!t (i.e 90% of what is printed int he Mirror) should not be posted. -_-

doing to robbie out there? :(

I want to know what things are being said so i know how to support

him....or how he must be feeling and why!

I don't know what's best either.

I can certainly boycott all the Mirror stuff. That's easy enough. But I really don't want to be put in the position of reading every article and having to decide whether it's un-nasty enough to be posted. And then get shouted at. :(

And as for not posting 'lies'. I've no idea what's 'lies' and what isn't. I can go with my gut instincts but that's all it would be.

And as for only posting 'the positive' ones. Nothing is bloody positive at the moment.

Agghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! I don't know what to vote for.
