Launches on Saturday 3rd March, then nightly from 7th - 16th March - Red Nose Day!

Regular host Patrick Kielty will be joined by Claudia Winkleman

Live event from the Academy's new and fitting venue, the Debating Chamber in London’s County Hall.

On launch night, thirteen celebrity students will sing for survival to raise money for Red Nose Day 2007.

Richard Park, David and Carrie Grant, Kevin Adams and Jeremy "slightly creepy" Milne are back.

With Richard Park on judge duties will be Lesley Garrett and Craig Revel Horwood.

Three students with the least amount of votes find themselves in the bottom three, where they perform again.

One of the bottom three is then saved by the judges, the remaining pair then face their Academy colleagues, who step up to vote for who they want to save.

One celebrity student will be expelled every night and tensions grow as the remainder edge closer to that Red Nose Final.

TPT & Linda will be good..

This program is really $h!te. :( But at least it's for a good cause, and Ruby Wax was hilarious a few years ago. ^_^

Ruby Wax & Jo Brand as The Cheeky Girls will always be TV gold

Shan't bother with this maybe to see TPT tho.

Oh I love this, people making a fool of themselves for charity. ^_^
TPT will not be able to sing! but it should be funny, although she does have a music degree playing piano or something so maybe is she plays piano and sings, but they wont let her. i remeber sam from eastenders was really good, but edith beat her in the final
Fame Academy was always way better than The X Factor, the talent was always of a much higher standard, with people like James or Sinead who had devoted their whole life to music, rather than the gimmickery of X Factor, I've always prefered it.

err...'stars'?!?!

Why can't we have the non-celebrity version back. I hate these celebrity ones.

They're only trying to re-kindle their careers.

Its the same with CELEBRITY Big Brother, I'm a CELEBRITY get me out of here, Come Dancing & Dancing On Ice

All c**p

I don't watch the celebrity ones any more.

Spot on.

The Michael Bolton/Joe Cocker wannabe who came 3rd on the last series of the Zzzz-Factor failed twice to get onto Fame Academy. I think that tells you all you need to know.

For this year's Comic Relief does Fame Academy: Shaun Williamson will be a bit of a ringer like his fellow ex-Eastenders colleague who finished 2nd last time (Kim Medcalf) behind Radio 1 DJ's Colin Murray's ex-co host (Edith Bowman). Could history repeat itself?

The first series of fame academy was fantastic and the celebrity version was so funny. They get the students to sing, play music and write songs and you get to see it all going on and get to know them .. that is why the show is better than x factor... shame cat isn't back.
shame cat isn't back.

Wish she was back there instead of doing rubbish links on American Idol

I agree with that too, Fame Academy was much better! It wasn't as manufactured as X Factor is...and the contestants were allowed to show off the songs they'd written
