Posted February 20, 200718 yr (February 15th 2007) Shilpa Shetty is flying back to the UK to save her 'Celebrity Big Brother' housemate Jo O'Meara. The former S Club 7 singer has confessed to feeling suicidal after being branded a racist due to her treatment of Shilpa on the reality show, and the Bollywood star wants to let her know she is forgiven. Shilpa told Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "I would like to speak to Jo and make sure she is all right. I am very worried about her." "I know she is a good person and I hate to think of what she is going through. She doesn't have much self-confidence and I know she must be having a terrible time." "I just want to speak to her and tell her to try to be strong. I have no ill feeling towards her. My heart goes out to her." The 31-year-old Big Brother winner has been in India visiting her sick father but is flying back to Britain today to help Jo. The 27-year-old singer, who has been prescribed anti-depressants, has become agoraphobic since leaving the Big Brother house and has not stepped foot outside her hotel room. Jo is struggling to cope with becoming a public hate figure after she and friends Jade Goody and Danielle Lloyd were accused of racist bullying against Shilpa during their time together on 'Celebrity Big Brother'. February 20, 200718 yr Author Well, I've been in another site, and it seems she won't be visiting Jo after all: (18 February 2007) Shilpa Shetty has been banned from visiting Jo O'Meara as Jo's family fear a visit from any ex-housemate may push her over the edge. Shilpa has urged for Jo to get in contact with her before she flies home to India next week as she wants to tell Jo she's fogiven and want's to help Jo get better. Ian 'H' Watkins, Danielle Lloyd and Cleo Rocos have also tried contacting Jo after hearing she was suicidal. The mobile number that Ian had for Jo, currently stopped working sparking rumours that Jo has had her mobile locked to stop people contacting her until she's fully recovered. <br />Also, as i said in an update afew days ago about a gig booked for the Chicago Rock Cafe in Chelmsford - according to a fan over at the forums, they contacted the owner who said Jo's agent's have cancelled the gig as they are still worried for Jo's health and safety. So if you've already purchased tickets from the website in order of seeing Jo, then if i were you i would request a refund as she ISN'T going to be there. But that's not to say that she won't be doing more PA's in future once she's recovered.
