Beautiful Intentions has grown on me so much now, it was a slow burner initially. I love You Will See.

For me Northern Star has yet to grow, I only got it at the start of 2007 though. Reason was very instant, love it, my fave by far from Mel.

Reason was a slow grower for me, whereas BI was instant.

I absolutely love this new album - Beautiful Intentions was a bit rocky for me and this new album reminds me of her first album.

I listened to "I want candy" yesterday and it totally turns me off! ;)

I want Candy is not a good indication for the album - none of the other tracks are like this. Thats why its only on there as a bonus track. The other songs are more like the first album 'Northern Star'

I'd say theyre more like her 2nd, 'Reason', which is why that and This Time are her 2 best ;)

Who knows but I think she really cant rely on the UK anymore, its a good job shes big in Europe...she can only have sold about 4k here so far. I really hope Carolyna or Understand push album sales up - have you got the album?

its top 90 in the midweeks for this week album will be very lucky to sell 10,000 at this rate

Well I knew they got royalties, but that much?! Baring in mind she'd have to split the royalties with Bryan Adams, his management, her management, the record company... :lol: And after that she still gets £15? :o
