ignore what i said earlier guys, lol, i really like this song now!
I hope 'Brianstorm,' does manage to go to #1 but I have high doubts that it will do, I would be quite pleased with a top 3 placing which I'm not even sure if it will manage to peak as high as that because of the amount of competition around at the moment.

I have my doubts now that it will get to #1 as well. Timbaland and Mark Ronson will both have strong sales next week and add that to Natasha and Shakira and Beyonce. :( Doesn't look too good to be honest.

There's no doubt that 'Favourite Worst Nightmare,' will get to #1 though no matter what the competition is, I still don't think it will have such big opening sales as the previous album managed to recieve though. I think we just have to hope that 'Brianstorm,' can get to #1 based on the fact it's better than 'Leave Before The Lights Come On,' and had more hype surrounding it, well that added to a fairly big single buying fanbase too.

Oh i'm really sure Favourite Worst Nightmare will get to #1. It's got hype around it there's nothing else big out on the same day. I dunno quite how much it will sell first week though.

As much as I want Brianstorm to go #1, the Arctic Monkeys wouldn't really be bothered. #11 is brilliant for a band that's on the Domino label. ^_^ But I still really hope it goes #1.

I still think Arctic Monkeys would be slightly dissapointed if 'Brianstorm,' didn't manage to go to #1 seeing as they probably feel they have preogressed with this album and songs from the previous album sold more, but either way I always thought that it was going to be a struggle to be as sucessful this time around.

What are the chances of each single off this album being an EP if one already is? Also I think they might even release a download only single this time around after 'Brianstorm,' has reached #11 which imo is a very bad idea because that is only doing so well as it's a lead single, am still sure they'd much rather have the sucess with the album rather than the single though.

Well i'd be dissapointed if it didn't make #1 as well, but then I guess it wouldn't be that bad as the main aim of the single is to promote the album after all.

I think they may release another EP. I'm not too sure though, I hope they will though!

I'm shocked that they're releasing 'Brianstorm,' as an EP tbh but I suppose it's a bigger incentive for people to buy it as there are a fair few B-Sides on it. :D It's weird to think that it's only their 1st release from their 2nd album but their 3rd EP.

It does seem a bit wierd that they're releasing Brianstorm as an EP, and I really dunno why they are doing it, but hey it means more tracks for the fans so I ain't complaining.

Exactly. From the sounds of things Arctic Monkeys always have a lot of left-over tracks from each album so it would be a good idea if in between 'Favourite Worst Nightmare,' and their next album that they maybe create a B-Sides album, it's been scuessful enough for Gwen Stefani. :D

A B-sides alnum would be creat after a few more albums. Would be great if the AM could come up with their very own Masterplan album. ^_^

Definitley. :D A lot of songs are kept as B-Sides for such reasons as them not being as high standard as tracks that actually do make the album but if they could possibly make these tracks better by adding some edgey production to it then that would be cool. :D Maybe work with a few other artists aswell. :D

Thing is though quite a lot of B-sides are actually better than some album tracks, Aqueisce (sp?) by Oasis springs to mind. It would be good if they did these mini collabirations (sp?) with other artists like Dizzee Rascal. :D

I'm sure that a lot of artists like Dizzee Rascal wouldn't even have to give up their spare time to collaborate on something like this because they could just sample a rap from possible a b-side of his with any relevance.

arctic monkeys play the game with their own rules.

they could have more number one/top10 singles with the releases of "mardly bum" or "certain romance" but the didnt want it.

n i love that attitude.

brianstorm could be the perfect number one, but we should forget the chart position n enjoy the pleasure of that song n the rest of the ep brings.

'Brianstorm,' gets very mixed reactions from people who judge it on how it sounds, some say it's too similar to their previous stuff where as others say it's different because it's heavier, I would be more likely to agree with the latter of the two. ^_^

Was a non-mover at #11 this week which is very good. :D

Also WPSIATWIN re-entered the chart at #50 this week as well! :o
