Posted February 24, 200718 yr Insted of losing them, they would be 12points clear at the top of the table. Sunderland are currently in 4th place and just 3 points behind 1st place leaders West Brom. With Sunderland playing West Brom next week there is a chance the Wearsiders could go top of the table, which many would of seen as imposible after the first 5 games. Anythoughts? February 24, 200718 yr Yes - Sunderland are going to win their League & Wolves will get promoted with them.
February 24, 200718 yr Keano, United's next manager I hope so. In 2002 I bet £10 at 50-1 on Roy Keane being the next Man Utd manager after Fergie.
February 25, 200718 yr Keano, United's next manager I'd love that too :D I've always rated Steve Coppell as a great manager too and O'Neil wouldn't be a bad choice. I have a feeling we might go for Lippi though.
February 25, 200718 yr And if Arsenal had won all their matches, they would be on maximum points, whoopdiedoo!
February 25, 200718 yr Come on Sunderland. :cheer: Quinn & Keane are doing a fantastic job. My hubby & son are off to Barnsley.

February 25, 200718 yr dream on ppl kean anit goin to go to man u he will stay with sunderland woo for for the makems Yes well said he won't leave Sunderland for Man U come off it. He will stay because he got players for Irland. And anyway he won't go back there becuse he wants to start new.
February 25, 200718 yr Had we won at Birmingham earlier in the week, we'd be two points better off and one place higher as well... that's life i'm afraid :( We should get automatic promotion. It's almost guaranteed if we beat West Brom next week. There was a great banner put up at one of the bars near the stadium that said: "Congrats Quinny & Keano. Anyone who slaps shearer in front of 50,000 geordies deserves to manage the best club in the north east"
February 25, 200718 yr Yes well lets hope that we beat West brom next week. Well it is only 3 to 4 points but we have done well considring that we were off to a bad start at the season. Edited February 25, 200718 yr by Emma

Yep, apart from a few questionable player positions at the start of the season, there's deffo no doubting Keano's management skills. He's motivated the lads into performing every week and he's made some quality signings/loans... looking forward to going up this year, because for once I believe we can stay up
February 25, 200718 yr It's unbelievably close between the top 5 or 6 clubs.. who is everyone expecting to get promoted to the prem this season? I reckon the table will probs fill out like this: 1 West Brom 2 Sunderland (Hey, 2nd will do me ^_^ ) ------------------------------------------------- Playoffs winner: Birmingham

February 25, 200718 yr Go Keano :cheer: Shearer was a c**t, hated him He was indeed ^_^ Speaking of which, rather randomly, there were some geordies at the Sunderland - Derby game yesterday... they looked sick as parrots when we won  They were walking around the stadium chanting "shearer, shearer" the nobs
