Mine would be Gegorge A Romero's living dead series (Dawn Of The Dead in particular) and Sam Ramie's (spelling? CBA to find out what it is atm) evil dead series except number 3 (army of darkness) which was just crap.

nothing like abit of gore in films  Don't click on if you DO NOT like GORE!!!! my favourite effect on Dawn of the Dead is this exploding head at the start, it was cut from most versions of the film except the directors cut (which has no cuts in it), they got the effect by actually shooting the manikin head (filled with all the blood and crap) with a shot gun, this was the only method that got the desired effect.

There's a really cheap flick that got banned... Zombie Nosh.

It was great. Not sure whether it was supposed to be a horror or a comedy, but it was funny as hell.

Cradle Of Fear is a bit gory too, heh.

i got that! lol

indeed it is very gory with livers being torn out of bodies, teenagers being impaled on pitch forks and other things like that this on is for a gore fan. Directed and starring Bill Heinzman who was the graveyard zombie on night of the living dead!

28 days later. Love the bit where there in the house and the zombie bited the man and then the girl, chops of his arm, then butchers him to death.

Dawn of The Dead - the original 150 minute version - absolutely fantastic, about as extreme as horror film-making gets...

Switchblade Romance has some absolutely gut-wrenching scenes

Saw is pretty good on the gore front

But if you want some pretty nasty gore you cant go much better than some of the Italian horror-meisters - Dario Argento (Deep Red, Suspiria, Inferno, Opera, Tenabrae), Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust, House on the Edge of the Park), Umberto Lenzi (Cannibal Ferox, Eaten Alive, Seven Orchids Stained in Red), Mario Bava (Blood and Black Lace, Bay of Blood, Black Sabbath, The Whip and the Body, A Hatchet for the Honeymoon), Lucio Fulci (Zombie Flesh Eaters, The Beyond, A Cat in the Brain, New York Ripper, Don't Torture A Duckling), Antonio Margheriti (Cannibal Apocalypse), Michele Soavi (Stagefright, The Church), Lamberto Bava (Demons)

Hah, cool! Am I a bit odd for finding it so funny?

The sequels were utter crap, not convincing in the slightest; the original "...Flesh Eaters" has a certain edginess about it, especially in the second half of the film..

Dubbing is unfortunately a feature of most of these Italian horrors, but the weird thing is, there are some American and British actors in these things, they do their lines in English and then the Italian actors do their lines in Italian... Pretty mad way of doing things.....

i dunno...

i would say final destination 3 but...

Ryan merriman dies and i actually cried so never mind :(

i heard there's something about a splinter being edged into someone's eye, but this could be a lie someone told me. the sequels have put me off seeing the first one because they are so crap.

Well he doesn't actually die, as the film stops just as she attempts to stop the premenition.

STILL

the preminition was bad enough :(

and the roller coaster preminition

Yep that's true; that particular scene was actually cut from UK versions of the film for many years, even the cinema version of it.. There's an "Extreme Version" of it released on DVD a few years ago which restores the scene in its entirety, but there are still other cuts even in this version...

If you're gonna watch it, make sure you get the unrated Region 1 American version of the film, that is totally uncut...

The nightmare on elm street films, kinda gory, but just brilliant to watch!
