Posted March 1, 200718 yr Apparently a lot of cars are breaking down in the south and south-east of england. Petrol supplies are being investigated. Anyone have any experience of this happening?
March 1, 200718 yr my garage man told me yonks ago never to fill up on a regular basis at the supermarkets .. their petrol is c**p petrol and is more likely to bugger up your engine...
March 1, 200718 yr My Maw's car has it and it's freaking annoyyying. Luckily it hasn't broken down but it keeps spazzing out and juddering and slowing right down.
March 1, 200718 yr try public transport today alternatively walk -_- and oh yes! because it's the south east mainly effected it's major news. Had this happened north of Birmingham it would have been slipped into the In Brief sections of the news -_-

March 2, 200718 yr my garage man told me yonks ago never to fill up on a regular basis at the supermarkets .. their petrol is c**p petrol and is more likely to bugger up your engine... That's the problem though innit, the Supermarkets are taking over this market as well, driving proper garages out of business.... How come the supermarket petrol is more rubbish...? Wouldn't they get it from the same source...? Hmmmm, if the Supermarkets are 'doing something' to the petrol that's causing cars to break down, I envisage a LOT of compensation claims...... Hope it happens, I really do, I would dearly love to see the likes of Tesco, Sainsburys, etc take a HUGE dump....
March 2, 200718 yr Silicone was found in petrol yesterday, but it's supposedly the suppliers fault, not the supermarkets.
