I just checked and Nelly's Loose album is only 1x platinum (200k) but Katie's is 2x platinum (400,000) :o

 

At least it is'nt fixed.

Well if you go onto the IPFI Germany site and type it in, that's what it says, and these sort of shows always go by these official sites, remeber with the CH4 Best selling artist of the 21st Cenutry, they said Rob had sold 6.3m, when itfact he had sold much more, but the BPI had'nt updated their site, and still had Escapology on 1.8m :rolleyes:

According to fansupreme, the broadcast on TV was two hours later than the ceremony. So he definatly won. Not sure if they skipped the catagory though. <_<

Seeing as these awards shows are all worked out before they're presented, Rob could have known they wouldn't be showing the category on tv so he didn't do one. I just wish it'd be announced either way aside from a website.

Yes, that is true. It would seem unlikely that he knew and still did'nt bother to record a message considering how loyal Germany have been to him.

Nelly Furtado's album loose has sold 500.000 copies in germany (at least) while Melua has sold over 600.000 copies of her latest album. BUT Meluas album is from 2005 i guess.. or? BTW Loose is the 3rd album in a row by furtado to sell OVER 500.000 copies.. The 3 best selling female international artists of the deacde in germany are:

 

1. Katie Melua/Anastacia

2. Nelly Furtado

3. Madonna
