the problem with this Mark Ronson single is obvious... you watch Joe Public make this record a huge hit - then the comments (especially from the kids of Buzzjack) of how Ronson's version is infinitely better than The Smiths' version... exactly the same thing happened with Kate Bush's Hounds of Love when Futureheads covered it :angry:

I love "Hounds of Love" by Futureheads, my favourite cover ever. They did what a cover should be, made it their own and it was different from the original...

 

This is the same, Mark Ronson's covers are excellent, I can't wait for "Version" to be released, he's incredible.

I absolutely cannot wait to buy his album, not least for the rendition of Valerie with Amy Winehouse.

 

The same cannot, however, be said about his colloboration with Tit Williams!

Probably my favourite song of the year so far, and it'a doing what a cover should do, bringing the song to a different audience without it sounding like a carbon copy. After all Mark Ronson is mainly an RnB producer

Just checked the tracklisting, it's a rapper called Tiggers. It has leaked but I've yet to download it

It;s a pretty good song but I hope its not gonna be this years Crazy and be No.1 for like 9 weeks!!! :angry:
